COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is intended to be a sensory assault for hop lovers. At 8.0% ABV, four hop additions during the brew process, and a final wallop of excessive Columbus dry-hopping, this beer is meant to say one thing: MORE HOPS! Perfect for these cool winter nights, The Deviant is a returning favorite from the little brewery in Lyons, Colorado that started the Canned Revolution!

Can. Finally got to try one. Pours out an orange color with a white head; smell is full of citrus and graepfruit and oranges. Bold hoppy and aggressive. Pretty good, wish it wasnt $11.99 a 4 pack though.

Tall can from BevMo. Highly hopped, slightly sweet sticky nose. Very hoppy. A lot of pine and some grapefruit. Slick mouthfeel. This is pretty potent. I think this is more of a double, but it’s good regardless of style.

Huge orange citrus taste up front along with a ton of tropical fruit. I’ve had beers with tropical fruit hops before, but this is quite frankly insanely tropical and delicious. Melon and pineapple galore. Good bitterness level helps keep it from being overly sweet.

Sweet honeyed hop aromas of pine, hop bud resin, and florals. On the palate, unique hop flavors immediately come to mind. Strange bitter orange nuances crossed with hay and grass, is best I can imagine. Different. There is a malt backbone, though I think the hops actually dominate. Definitely needs to be served at 55+ to bring out malt balance, or else a strange bitter nuance is kinda a turn off to me on the mid-palate. Bitter hop dominated finish of resinous buds and grapefruit. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

A stream of deep dark gold while pouring; full amber in the glass. Clear with light hop haze. Off-white head. Aroma is floral, grapefruit, orange, light candy, and a bit of mineral yeastiness. Medium body, with light, forgiving carbonation, resulting in a somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Funky floral, with light citrus rind and some resinous bitterness. Neutral sweetness with some minerals. Very nice!

A good golden IPA that hides the alcohol well. I need to pick up a six pack of this for next summer - and the can factor makes it store well.
