Can: Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head, huge pine resin aroma, starts and ends bitter with grapefruit in the aftertaste, full bodied, sticky mouthfeel. novels (424) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Nice complexity, pours with a great foamy head. Tasty crisp brew with a perfect muddy amber color. Lovely tanginess and resin hops. Great stuff. haukur (2079) - Kópavogur, ICELAND - SEP 9, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2012 on tap: Darker than the average dipa. Very sweet considering its only 8% abv. Had better, the pale ale walks over this....
canned. Not as sweet as on tap, very bitter but highly drinkable. Nice IPA ShawnC (76) - - SEP 9, 2012
Dark gold almost amber. Little to no head. Very Piney nose. Thick rich malts with a firm compleat pine structure. Long substantial finish. What I expect from Oskar. Must try for hoppy fans. From can.

Can. Amber pour with a tall, fluffy beige head. Strong citrusy hops in the aroma along with soft pine, floral notes and caramel. Taste is strong citrus oils, pine resins, floral hop notes, caramel, and sticky, sweet malt. There’s some candied orange as well. Body is medium-full with a strong, creamy carbonation, light stickiness and a strong lingering hop bitterness. More citrus oils during the finish along with candied orange, caramel, sweet malt, softer pine, tropical fruit, and floral hops. Nice!

Draft at Blowtoad. Medium reddish amber, slight lasting head. Aroma caramel and citrus hops. Flavor is a blast of pine, some slight citrus, and fairly thick caramel malt backbone. Hop flavor is nice, but there is a harshness to this beer that detracts. Have sampled this multiple times now in various formats, always the same basic conclusion. Tall boy from Lotto Liquor poured into pint glass. Thick, creamy, lasting head, resinous aroma. I’m sold on this beer when poured into a glass. Haven’t tried straight from the can. PotjeBier (3633) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 8, 2012
16 oz. can @ home (6 months after canning). Clear amber/orange color. Big, rocky, off white head, long lasting & good lace. Strong aroma’s of resin/pine from the glas, retronasal it’s more tropical fruit (mango springs to mind), some citrus & sweet malts. Flavor is medium sweet, a little roast and a mild bitter backbone. Medium bodied. Finishes quite dry and eventually bitter. Itzjerm (3076) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - SEP 7, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2013 Aroma is perfect hoppiness. Very full head which is awesome. Perfect mouth fill not to sweet nice balance. A great low gravity double ipa at eight. Calling it an IPA, its just pretty awesome.

Rerated this batch was way to sweet, not really balanced. Not bad though. nielsedd (79) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Pours a very hazy copper with a nice off white head that dwindles to a thin layer and then sticks around. Extremely "sticky" lacing coats the glass. Smells great: fruit, caramel, dough, and some pine. Tastes of the same; I get mango for the fruit and a strong resiny presence. Phenomenal beer. OB does it again. Not surprised.
