Tap at Fire House in Eau Claire. Amazing beer! Grapefruit and resin. So full on aroma and flavor. Just spectacular. hopscotch (11181) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Draft… Clear dirty-orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Great retention and then there’s lots of thick lacework left behind, clinging tightly to the sides of my glass. The nose offers grapefruit, passionfruit and resiny pine. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and modest carbonation. The flavor is bitter with a nice caramel malt backbone – some residual sweetness makes a brief appearance, but is then quickly decimated by bitter, rindy, pithy hops. Lengthy, tongue-numbing, medium bitter finish. garthicus (2939) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 6, 2012
Thanks to Blankboy. Appearance: red body, brown. Small white head. Aroma: lemon, hops, spice, yeast. Flavour: bitter, sharp, good amount of bitterness, tangy with a long lemon-ish finish. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Straddles the line between IPA and DIPA....Huge hoppy piney nose. Palate is extremely bitter with some resinous character. Finish is bitter and dry and quick. I liked this a lot because it was hugely hoppy without being too heavy or sweet. Big as a DIPA, drinking characteristics of a IPA. WIN. four pack from rabbit stew’s bottle shop .. . pours a deep gold copper .. lacing and head are fantastic .. . sticky and hoppy, deep resin and sticky chopped daisy grass .. . leaves a hop coating in the mouth, but 2 pints was enough for the evening .. bring on berbatov!!!

Clear dark amber with a moderate off-white head and substantial lacing. One of the best smelling IPAs I’ve ever tried. Full of vivid grapefruit and other citrus, caramel malt, pine, and earth. The taste is really well balanced, nice maltiness up front, and a serious bitterness throughout and at the finish. Medium-full bodied, sticky, a bit dry, a slight bit boozy, with average carbonation. Definitely one of the fullest and best IPAs I’ve ever tried. GhostFace (321) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 5, 2012
16oz can. pours out a ruby/amber color, thin off white head. aroma off the glass is of dank piney and citrus hops accompanied by some sweet caramel malt. huge wallop of hops hit your tongue from the jump and the bitterness lingers. pretty one dimensional. i was expecting more considering the hype that was behind this one. Great amber color with a slightly off-white, thick head. Smells of earthy piney hops. Tastes especially bitter, with the typical citrusy hops but with an unexpected sweetness. reverendj (185) - Brunswick, Georgia, USA - MAY 5, 2012
In Oskar Blues own words, "this is a can-o-bliss!". Quite possibly one of the best beers I’ve ever had! Supercharged floral hop aroma on the pour with a beige head that is thick and creamy. Very earthy and spicy up front followed by a bitter finish that is not astringent at all. The hop bill is as close to perfect as there is. This tastes like a premium bowl of super weed. A little pricey, but worth every penny!
