COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is intended to be a sensory assault for hop lovers. At 8.0% ABV, four hop additions during the brew process, and a final wallop of excessive Columbus dry-hopping, this beer is meant to say one thing: MORE HOPS! Perfect for these cool winter nights, The Deviant is a returning favorite from the little brewery in Lyons, Colorado that started the Canned Revolution!

16oz Can. The pour was a murky medium burnt orange with an average (1-2 finger) off white frothy head that lasted a little while. Reducing finally down to a medium film with a large collar, which did produce some awesome sheets of lacing. The aroma was of a grain malt, pine and resin hops and an earthy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit and orange peel) and a touch of apricot. The taste was a malty bitter with a light sweet caramel undertone and a mild fruity ester in the beginning, and then became intensely hoppy with a large resin presence and a harsh bitter citrus peel ending. The flavor lasted an ungodly long time proceeding the swallow, with the harsh hoppy bitterness fading away slowly. Mouthfeel was a bit past light in body with a very dry texture and an almost ticklish carbonation. Overall this is a brew for the true "HOPHEAD”, very lightly sweet and intensely hoppy and bitter...

355ml can. Pours a hazy orange with a large, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, orange, grapefruit, peach and pine needles. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, peach, passion fruit, orange, grapefruit and pine resin with a dry, bitter hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.

Chew on this one! More meat than a kebab shop at midnight, this is a belter. Super hopped, nice malt backbone and cracking mouthfeel to it. Bonkers beer that should be applauded, and it's in a bloody can! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer has teeth. It's aggressively hopped yet somehow velvety. Brutal but smooth, like Mr Blonde dancing to Stuck In The Middle With You while he cuts the cop's ear off in Reservoir Dogs ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looks fantastic.Lovely creamy head. Darkish for a dipa. Great copper colour. Wow. Beautiful full flavoured dipa from the first sip. Intense malt and hop flavour. The malt and hops are beautifully balanced. Bags of flavour. Lightly carbonated lovely mouthfeel not thin not viscous just perfect. I love this. Fantastic dipa. I cant really fault it. For a dipa the malt is the predominant flavour but its still hoppy. A great beer
