Can from Beermerchants.com. Orange brown, big foamy head. Sharp spicy hop aroma. Soapy resin hop flavour. Creamy with bitter sweet aftertaste. Quite big tasting for an APA. Stuu666 (13394) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 15, 2015

Pour on tap at COBF 2014, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of pine, orange peel, nice pineapple into some slight pine, slight biscuit, caramel. Taste was a mix of biscuit, pine, orange peel into some grapefruit, touch of caramel, biscuit, finishing bitter, dry. Pretty nice, though basic. 5.2% ABV - Pours clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of juicy tropical fruits, caramely malts, syrup and toffee. Taste is smooth, sweet and juicy with some fruity hops, citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Finish is sweetish, a bit stuffy and juicy with some fruitiness. Okay, a bit too sweet and stuffy for a pale ale.

Can from Cornelius. Clear golden body with tiny yeast flecks floating around. Thick off-white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and mango. Flavour of tangy lemon, biscuit, bitter hops and grass. Thin body with an oily texture. Lively fizz. A solid, hoppy Pale Ale. alexsdad06 (10389) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 5, 2014
Draft at Dutch’s. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have a nice balance of hops and malts, toasted bready malts, decent bitterness for a pale, light fruit, herbal, earthy, put it in a can and I would drink it again. On tap at Dutch’s. Clear golden orange color. Nice thin off-white head. Leaves decent short rows and bits of lace. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Kind of slick. Awesome interesting hop aroma... Seeing the gooseberry that people talk about, some tropical citrus, light peppery hop. Some caramel malt, bready malt. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Very aromatic pale ale, great feature for the nelson sauvin. Easy to sip repeatedly, even when it’s on the warmer side. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 18, 2014
Thus poured a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma was fresh Nelson hops, really no malt showing through, flavor was similar, subdued, perfumery and a bit dirty. Eh.
