On tap at the brewery taproom in Brevard.
Wine barrel aged -- listed at 7.1% ABV.
Medium body with light carbonation.
Excellent use of wine barrel aging with some effect on feel, I suspect, and certainly solid but not overdone effects on the aroma and flavor. Distinct and harmonious blend of flavors and aromas.
Overall: one of the best uses of wine barrel aging I have come across. jackl (8423) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 12, 2017
Sample @ Charleston Brewvival, 2015. Somewhat hazy golden pour with a fine white head. Saison yeast on the nose – gentle bucolic character. Light wheat. Soft apple and orchard fruits. Flavor has some gentle grain, dry white grain. Bright carb, very easy drinking. Nice. The_Osprey (9126) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2016
Bottle share as ’Oskar Blues Freedom Tickler ’, 5.8%, many thanks to Leighton for this. Yellow, slight haze, translucent, lightly sparkling, small foamy white head. Aroma is jam tart, jelly tarts from my childhood, some fake lemon. Body is light, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is bready, jam tart, metallics. Thin and watery. Flavour is just a bit washed out unfortunately. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 23, 2016

Bottlshare at Mr Smith’s pad. Thanks to Leighton for the can. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and crispy. Strong floral start, pinch of herb. Floral candy fruit sweetness. A dry finish sees the floralness getting even strong, slightly perfumey. Different!

Can shared in London - sourced from some online retailer. Pours totally clear with a creamy, white head. The nose holds wheat bread, white grape, hay, apple. Light to medium sweet flavour, with light doughy wheat bread, more white grape, lemon rind, yeast, pale bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sweet on the finish, some lemon meringue, hay, sugary wheat bread. Pretty simple, but enjoyable. Theydon_Bois (20612) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 14, 2016
Can split at Bespin, thanks to tickler Smith, 14/04/16.
Pale golden blonde with a moderate off white covering that dissipates to spotting.
Nose is somewhat limited, light citric peel, straw, yeast, faint bread.
Taste comprises lemon rind, faint honey, grain, straw, pale malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, a touch sweet for the style.
Ok and no more ... a little basic.

Oskar Blues tap takeover @ The Craft Bar Destin…Pours a hazy orangish/gold color. Aromas of tart fruit, bread, citrus, and yeasty. Flavor is malty/citrus. Leaves a yeasty orange aftertaste. Like a mellow smooth IPA. Good Beer! teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 6, 2015
