From tap at Church Key. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is dark fruity and slight wooden flavorued. Bitter, dark caramelish and roasted malty. Wooden and roasted into a dry and dense malty finish. Dark malty. Lasting malty impression.

Ungstrup (37558) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2008
GABF 2007. A hazy pale golden beer with a thick beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of whiskey, but also lighter notes of over ripe fruit. The flavor is sweet malt with lots og whiskey and alcohol, the latter burning slightly and warming the cheeks, it also has notes of caramel.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy orange coloureed with a medium sized off white ehad. Aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruits and whisky with notes of hops. Fruity flavour of caramel, dried fruits and bourbon with notes of cocoa and alcohol. Warming alcoholic finish of whisky.

Keg at BrewDog Sheppy’s Bush - London. Pours clear orange with a frothy, white head. Lots of oxidised malt character to the nose, toffee, stewed apples. Medium sweet flavor with rich bread, caramel, ripe apples, brown sugar, dates. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with further aged fruits, creamy caramel and toffee, golden raisins, fruitcake. Rich, tasty.

Draught at Oskar Blues Grill & Brew. Cloudy brown - white head. High bourbon, vanilla, coconut, wood, nice hoppy, caramel, dried fruits, alcoholic, chocolate, cocoa. Over the top !!!

On tap @ Falling Rock poured a hazy golden amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of whikey, vanilla, fruittiness, light carmel and light oak. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of whiskey, carmel, vanilla, fruittiness and light oak with a smooth lingering whiskey finish.

Keg at BD Shep’s Bush (8.7%), as brekenbridge BA. It pours deep ruby-brown with a small off-white head. The nose is juicy, sweet vanilla, toasted coconut, oily, bourbon, toffee, butterscotch, varnish and wood. The taste is smooth, woody, bourbon, pine, varnish, toffee, decent bitterness, bourbon, alcohol warmth and a touch of citrus with a warming, sweetish finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Pretty well rounded and drinkable stuff. Nice.

Draft. Medium beige head atop cloudy copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some whiskey, light vinous, toffee. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, grape, some whiskey, light vinous. Sticky medium-full body, low carbonation. Lost too much of the lovely underlying beer.

Drake (13724) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 3, 2009
Served on draft at Capital Ale House downtown. Pours a clear brownish red with a large frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of dark resiny hops with lots of whisky notes and notes of maple, vanilla and mint. Taste is citrus hops that are hidden at first but grow as you drink the beer leading to a nice hop burn on the roof of the mouth. Lots of whisky and maple notes as well. No booze detectable and the flavors work together beautifully. Full bodied.

Draught at Oskar Blues. Pours hazy amber with a spare, fizzy, off-white head, diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (toasted grain, bread), average hops (flowers, herbs), average yeast (sweat) with notes of oak, whiskey, and vanilla. Full bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.
