Each year GUBNA takes on a personality of its own. We seek out the most exciting and best available hops from each individual season to create a potent and complex Imperial IPA. GUBNA is packed with Rye and North American Pale Malt and accented with Munich Malt to give a spicy and flavorful backbone to support loads of kettle hops driving the IBUs to triple digits.
** This beer will now feature different hops in the massive dry hop every year.
2015 - Features whole leaf Galena hops, plus Sorachi Ace and Columbus hops. Dry hopped with copious amounts of El Dorado, Comet and Chinook.

Can. A dark golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has strong notes of spices, malt, caramel, and hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops lending it notes of grass, combined with notes of malt and alcohol, the latter tickling the palate, when the dry and bitter finish sets in. Like drinking hop soup.

[email protected], Stockholm. Reddish orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, grass, some floral hops as well along with caramel malts and some mild toasted notes. Flavour is very bitter fruity, grassy and herbal with also some floral notes. Mild bready and caramelly malts along with some alcohol is smoothening all the bitterness up a bit.

Canned at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear pale amber, brief head. Perfumy hoppy nose with gooseberry and star fruit. Very sweet, full bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy and hoppy with a significant alcohol burn and slightly inky bitterness. Edgy and too sweet, but lovely aroma.

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2012 22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Clear gold bber. Piney nose. Soft palate, a little dry. Piney grassy aromatic hops, with mint, - not to heavy and fairly sweet. A little grapefruit and pineapple in the lead up to the finish which is slightly warming and turns a little bitter. Could drink a bucket of this!
