Tap @ Liquids and Solids. Clear amber with a big off-tan head. Big fresh dank hop oil aroma, lots of earthy-toffee tones. Taste is very smooth and coating with a lasting finish. Big toffee and caramalt backbone, with a substancial fresh hop bitterness to balance, but very smooth. Beautifully balanced, sweet at first, but follows with resinous floral hops, fresh cut grass. Just delightful.

On tap in Denver at Earls. Pours a clear deep amber almost red color with a small white head. A sweet caramel and citrus nose. A smooth earthy flavor, some caramel and pine, light bitterness. Very nice.

arminjewell (9721) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 25, 2011
Pour is hazy reddish orange with thick white head on tap, aroma brought notes of dank hops, with pine, orange and tangerine coming through mostly, hints of crackery bread and biscuit in there as well to balance it out. Palate is fairly creamy which is a bit odd, but nice notes of oily orange and tangerine mix with pine and bitter grass, some slight toffee and caramel notes, finishing fairly bitter. Nicely done brew.
