COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An odd couple can make for some of the most incredibly unique tastiness. Take Hotbox Coffee IPA (7.2% ABV, 70 IBUs) for example - a piney, citrus, mango, Simcoe-hopped IPA and an infusion of cold brew extract made with Hotbox Roasters’ Ethiopian beans poppin’ with creamy blueberry and cacao notes.

0,355l can @ One Pint Pub. Pours cloudy golden with a medium creamy head. Aroma is malts with some fruity notes and some coffee. Flavor is fruity malts, coffee, hops. Interesting, that's for sure.

355ml can. Pours a hazy gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pine needles and coffee with a biscuit malt backbone. Sweet flavour of mango, caramel, grapefruit, pine needles, grass and biscuit malt in the background with a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not picking up any blueberry notes but was still ok.

Can, picked up at the Co-Op. Pours clear golden, large white fluffy head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is pine and oranges, perhaps a hint of coffee. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, pine, grapefruit, touch of coffee. Pretty subdued on the coffee scale, but not bad. Medium body. soft mouthfee.

12oz can pours with a clear gold body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma starts with a dash of coffee then a nice dose of mango and then bigger earthy coffee and finally grapefruit and more mango toward the end of the draw. The taste is similar as tangelo and mango jump at you along with roasty coffee and then flowing into a nice earthy coffee sensation. To midway the fruity juiciness ramps up to take over the experience. Pretty nice.

I have to say, I really hated it! I could tell the hop profile was really nice, citrusy and resiny and fresh, but it clashed with the coffee aromas in a way that almost made me gag, sort of a weird sour dishwater type smell. It took some effort for me to even take a sip, then same reaction, then drainpour. My reaction is clearly against the grain.

Hazy golden color; Medium body; Aroma of toasted malt, coffee beans, hops, some caramel, & grass/grain; Flavor of slight roasted malt, pine hops, coffee, some chocolate notes, and citrus; Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; The coffee is subtle & not overpowering - pretty decent overall.

Coffee IPAs dont usually work for me, but this one is pretty good. It pours a slightly hazy yellow with a lot of foam. The aroma is buttery, some vanilla, a light roast coffee and some hops, but the coffee seems to be dominant over the hops. The flavor is a little bit of citrus and floral hops, but the coffee closes it out with a big finish. I think this is more like a coffee pale ale than an IPA, but it tastes good.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2017 Hazyish yellow beer with smallish head on top of the beer. Aroma has ashtray at first, like sweet Jesus what is this. Then you realize the cold brew coffee and the pieces fall into their places. Sweet fruits and grapefruit hops too. Taste is sweet with tropical fruits, then coffee, some cold brewed coffee and ends with moderate bitterness. Medium body and medium carbonation.
