COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Metamodern IPA conceived of hand selected hops from down under. Malt barley and red wheat combine to create a clean malt backbone with foolproof flavor and mouthfeel to support the main act of Enigma, Vic Secret, Ella, Topaz and Galaxy hops. The hops strum juicy and sweet aromas with headline notes of passion fruit, raspberries, pineapple and citrus. This straight-up strain is Oskar Blues IPA (6.43% ABV). To each their own til we go home.

On tap at Les Dix Fûts, Orleans-- Pours clear yellow with thin white head. Nose is tropical fruits. Aromas are grapefruit, lychee, mango. Average carbonation, light/medium body. Long bitter and tropical fruits finish. Very refreshing, well balanced. Nice stuff! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

4 finger white head. Clear, golden coloured beer.

Aroma is caramel, nectarine, slight soil, lemon, pineapple and pine along with an overripe tropical note that I can't put my finger on.

Taste is grapefruit pith and earthy with a nice malty breadiness to it. Juicy, tropical fruits in the background. Citrus, nectarine.

Mouthfeel is juicy and refreshing. Nice, medium-high carbonation to keep the beer 'alive'. Medium, passive bitterness, both in a grapefruit way and in a earthy, burnt kind of way. Quite drinkable.

Overall: An interesting IPA from a brewery I hold in high regard. The earthy flavours are too prominent for it to be rated higher but it still comes out as a pleasant, drinkable and juicy IPA.

hoppy, fruity and crisp, with nice citrusy overtones. Two finger foam, a light straw appearance. Wish there were a category for labeling - the blue/silver designt/color scheme really stands out!

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 Pours s hazy light golden yellow. Frothy off white head great lacing on the glass. Taste is more towards the citrusy side with more hop flavor than bite. Smooth mouthfeel.

I've had a few Oskar blues, their IPA is pretty damn good. I had it on a hot summer day and it cooled me off but still had some killer flavor ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft to pint at The Pint Room. Looks good; a transparent honey gold with foamy eggshell head. Smells and tastes of fruity and piney hops with a clean moderately bittersweet backbone. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and pleasantly bitter. Sessionable and enjoyable.

Can purchased at Beer Supreme, Oldenburg. Pours unclear golden with an one finger white head. Smells floral hopy. Taste starts strong hopy, some honey and floweresque elements. Also strong hopy in the middle part, some dry pale grain. Okay.
