Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

This is a damn good Pilsner! Perfect clear gold color with a creamy white foam of ever scent bubbles. The aroma and taste is biscuit with a light lemon twang and a slightly spicy hop zip.

Clear yellow, thin head. Bitter, bready aroma. Taste is a little bready as well, along with a touch of slightly sour fruit. Its okay.

12 ounce can from Woodmans in Janesville, WI, served a few minutes out of the fridge in a New Glarus pils glass. Close-to-perfect pils pour, deep gold with a lasting frothy white head which laces well as it so slowly dissipates....lovely grassy, farmy aroma - thistles and hay - with a touch of mildew and a bit of honey, its the cool of an old barn in the shade after walking in the hot meadow in springtime...light sweetness in the body with some mineralic hardness throughout, growing dry noble hop bitterness as we cycle through the palate, nice honey-sourdough bready texture...just a tiny bit lighter in the body than I would prefer, carbonation somewhat low for the style - but all in all this is a really fine example, with a more aggressively bitter finish than most but very drinkable all in all.

Can. Yellow in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of light pilsner malt, minerals, hay, and lemon peel. More light malt and lemon on the palate, along with some spicy herbs. Light bodied with a pleasantly firm chalky bitterness. A bit simplistic, but its nice and clean with the right amount of bitterness. Solid.

Schooner on-tap at Brewdog Doghouse, Glasgow (3.61):
This one wasnt too bad a pilsner from Oskar Blues, it was crisp & quite clean with some early sweetness alongside a light citrus & grassy hop flavour. There was some background fruits & it proved quite easy to drink, my biggest complaint being that it wasnt quite as strong as Id have liked but it was a decent beer despite this.

Aroma; pale malts, dough, hops, bread, grain, yeast, orange. Look; warm off white head, near clear pale orange-golden body. Taste; fruity malts, hops, orange, juicy bread, leaves, grass - leading to an orange-breadish finish. Feel; juicy, normal carbonation. Overall; premium. With its mandarine notes, its a quite women friendly pilsner too. [33cl.can 5.3% BB.12.12.2016 [email protected]]
