This only rated 3.12 as of October, 2012. This makes me suspect that either this stuff is incredibly inconsistent or people just don’t like a good American craft lager. This is rather more Pilsner-like than most American brews billed as such but still is very much from the country it’s brewed in. It’s a nice golden yellow w/ a scant but lasting head of fine bubbles. The nose is rather brighter than I’d expect from a Pilsner but quite nice w/ loads of floral character. Flavor too is nice and clean w/ a firm citrus-rind bitterness in the finish. There is a touch of sweetness but fine carbonation helps keep it perfectly drinkable. There is really a lot to like here and a good deal of complexity for a lighter brew. This isn’t really a Pilsner--meaning it does not taste like a European pils--but it gives you pretty much exactly what you’d want out of such a beer.
Can. Aroma: wheat, a bit of spice, sweet. App: slightly cloudy gold, almost no head. Taste: surprisingly spicy, a bit of citrus. Palate: light and refreshing, medium finish. Overall: Decent but not fantastic. hawanna (3291) - Freising, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2017

cereal, herbs, citrus, golden, clear, frothy, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, slick feel, average carbonation, nice Pilsner. jamiemac87 (121) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2017
Pours clear golden with a good head that reduces quickly.
Biscuit on the nose.
Malt and grassy tones cut though by a buttery element.
Decent for style. radassace (298) - SCOTLAND - JUN 7, 2017
355ml can.pours light golden straw, with a small white head. Nose is bread, straw, lemon, and a hint of grapefruit. Smooth beer, flavours of bread, biscuit, some corn, and a lemon bitter finish. Pretty decent pils! jamesie1857 (2110) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2017
Can from Tesco - Clear yella body, firm white head. Nose has a delicate malt touch, with grassy, lightly piney hops, some hay and a hint of generic fruitiness. A bit sweet, with light biscuity malts in the back and a pleasant hoppy flavor of grass and floral pine notes.

Very good pilsner. Still tastes like beer, even though it is a pilsner. Always from a can with these guys. niquillis (2678) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2017

355ml can. Pours bright gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet lager malt and grassy hop. Taste has dry lagery malt. Stony finish. uckelman (789) - Durham, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2017
Clear golden. White head. Usual pils aroma, grassy. Usual pils flavour. Not all that inspiring. jasonbenali (200) - Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2017
Pours pale yellow with a clean white head and touch of lacing.
Aroma is butter, straw with very light caramel malts and hint of lemon and herb. Didn’t get much in the way of spice. Taste is quite sweet with some bitterness in a medium finish.
More interesting than most pils, but too buttery for my taste.
