This only rated 3.12 as of October, 2012. This makes me suspect that either this stuff is incredibly inconsistent or people just don’t like a good American craft lager. This is rather more Pilsner-like than most American brews billed as such but still is very much from the country it’s brewed in. It’s a nice golden yellow w/ a scant but lasting head of fine bubbles. The nose is rather brighter than I’d expect from a Pilsner but quite nice w/ loads of floral character. Flavor too is nice and clean w/ a firm citrus-rind bitterness in the finish. There is a touch of sweetness but fine carbonation helps keep it perfectly drinkable. There is really a lot to like here and a good deal of complexity for a lighter brew. This isn’t really a Pilsner--meaning it does not taste like a European pils--but it gives you pretty much exactly what you’d want out of such a beer.
Testad på sbwf -17. Helt ok pilsner men inget jag lär köpa hem. Gräsklipparöl!

A pretty good lager, but definitely one of my least favorite of the Oskar Blues line. Tried for the first time in 2010, it has a thick, grassy, earthy hop body. johndoughty (5543) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2017
Can. Orange clear appearance. Head soon dissipates leaving a flat but pleasant beer. Slightly hoppy but nothing out of the ordinary. Non-threatening and quite nice. john_hops_kinz (26) - - OCT 11, 2017
Mama's Little Yella Pils: It tastes like a warm and doughy slice of beef-and-kiwi cheesecake. BeardedAvenger (1118) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2017
Can from Tesco, Aldershot. Foam exploded everywhere when activated the ring pull. Grassy, pine aroma. Light gold. Bubbly (funnily enough). Thick foamy white head (funnily enough). Medium bitter. A crispness to it. Yer standard lager traits but more hoppy. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carb. Long if low key finish. Decent enough, just not a favourite style of mine.
