Can poured into pilsener glass. Clear straw gold, effervescent, dense creamy white foam leaves raccoon-tail lace rings. Powerful, unpleasant aroma… sulfur and cooked cabbage, grainy, farty, sugary. OB needs some preemptive DMS control.Grainy and corny taste, toasted sourdough, strong sugary notes; pretty rough around the edges... and everywhere in between as well. At least it has a thousand times more personality than the bigbrewer American pisswater lagers. Medium body with some CO2 tingle, watery finish and metallic aftertaste.

Can from Tesco Amersham. Poured a clear straw colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light buttery yeast, citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp, fruity floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not bad and improved greatly as it got warmer.

Draft at Oaks Crossing. Pale yellow, clear, with a thin white head. Nice hoppy pils, a bit of a grassy and earthy aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Way too much head. I can pour pretty well, and in a pilsner glass, as is proper, I tried pouring three glasses and each one had at least a good 3 inches. My favorite pilsner is Warsteiner and this doesn’t compare. It’s flavor is blah, and it’s overpriced for what it is.

$1.99 can from Blue Ridge Bottle Shop. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet floral hops, grasses, hint of citrus. Flavor is bittersweet floral hops, minor citrus, minor grasses. This is not your traditional pils, and I appreciate that.

Aroma of lemon, grass, and hay. Color is like lemonade. Reminds me more of an IPA than a pilsner. Very hoppy, slightly sweet, with that tangy IPA finish. It was ok.

Can. Aroma: wheat, a bit of spice, sweet. App: slightly cloudy gold, almost no head. Taste: surprisingly spicy, a bit of citrus. Palate: light and refreshing, medium finish. Overall: Decent but not fantastic.

Pours clear golden with a good head that reduces quickly. Biscuit on the nose. Malt and grassy tones cut though by a buttery element. Decent for style.
