Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Can. Poured a medium hazy yellow with an average sized fizzy head that was mostly lasting and had fair lacing. The aroma was of grain malts, an earthy yeast with a nice blending of flowery hops. It tasted refreshingly bitter and a little acidic from beginning to end with the end having a nice mildly bitter tinge that stayed with you for just a little while. Mouthfeel was light in body and dry in texture with a lively carbonation. Overall a great Pilsener, quite drinkable.

Very good pilsner. Still tastes like beer, even though it is a pilsner. Always from a can with these guys.

Pours pale yellow with a clean white head and touch of lacing. Aroma is butter, straw with very light caramel malts and hint of lemon and herb. Didnt get much in the way of spice. Taste is quite sweet with some bitterness in a medium finish. More interesting than most pils, but too buttery for my taste.

Bright clear golden with a frothy lasting white head. Aromas of straw, hay and floral earthy hops develop with a hunch of fresh butter. Crisp, clean sweetness with a floral hoppy bitter bite to it. Finish is harmonious and a nice example of a classic Czech Pils.

Pas mal pour une pils. Nez trs modr et commun, pas engageant. Bouche plus malte que la moyenne des pils, un peu plus ronde et aromatique. Finale sche et sympa, bien dsaltrante.

Little yellow can of filtered beer from Tesco. Nice use of Noble hops lifts this a little, but it cant really compare on value, authenticity, and good meaty fresh malt flavour with a Czech lager. I guess if you live in the US and cant get hold of genuine Czech lager cheap and fresh, then this is actually an OK substitute, but for those who live in Europe, there are better beers available in the local Euro corner shop.

12 oz. can. Crushed one of these after running in the Austin Statesman Cap10k during the post-race festivities at about 9:20am. Had to re-hydrate somehow. Aroma of pils malt and hay. Taste follows nose with some fruitiness and mild spice. Finish has a bit of a bite. Was quite refreshing.
