On tap at the Tasty Weasel. Appearance: small white head, amber color, clear. Aroma: sweet molasses, prune, floral, fruity. Palate: soft carbonation, medium body, smooth texture. Taste: medium fruity sweetness, maybe a little too sweet for balance. Overall, slightly too sweet for me, but pretty well done. Scopey (14736) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2014
Keg at BD Camden. It pours murky dark amber with a small beige head. The nose is sweet, brown bread, fruit cake, earth, brown sugar, malt loaf, and a hint of spice. The taste is smooth, brown bread, earth, dull toast, dried fruits, spice, touch of bitterness and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not exactly a whole lot of depth to it and not what I would call a marzen.... So-so. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - JUL 5, 2010
Tap at the Longmont location. Pours a translucent amber with a creamy off white head. Aroma was nice and malty with a touch of citrus hops. Some spicy hop notes coming through as well. Flavor of the same. Nice and dry. Ratman197 (14842) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 31, 2010

Clear chestnut, mahogony color. Very clear. Malty grains and crisp grassy hops. Bready. Light grain and toasted breads in the flavor and grassy spicy hops. Light mouth feel and dry. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 10, 2010
filtered caramel colored body. primarily munich and vienna malts give it a slight honey sweetness while the yeast (dirty as always) imparts a slight tin metal flavor throughout. hop bitterness is low but not low enough for a marzen. simple, tends to the sweet side, needs better attenuation. damn shame it’s so forgettable. Crushed at the Weasel. Not bad. Thin with a nice hop flavor. Kinda bready malt backbone is okay with a nice sweetness. It’s no Celebrator, but it’ll do. potbeerjob (1343) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 4, 2010
Draught. Brown with red hue, thin white head. Aroma of sweet dark grains, earthy hops, light caramel. Taste is light sweet grains with mild bitter finish. Medium bodied and pretty full for a marzen.
