Hunahpu's Day 2018! Pours a deep black with bubbly tan brown head that leaves moderate lace and viscously slips down the glass. Aroma of nice sweet barrel notes up front that blend nicely with the coconut, and then a touch of spice on the back end. Taste follows, huge amounts of coconut, pleasant amount of barrel. Really nicely done. blueshockey24 (716) - Colorado, USA - MAR 29, 2018
Stovepipe from 2017 release. Pours black with tan head. Aroma is chocolate coconut and rum. Taste is sweet chocolate coconut with a solid rum backbone. The 2017 version to me has more rum presence. hopdog (13606) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 22, 2018

Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice roast, sweetish, alcohol, some rum. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of alcohol, sweet, lots of chocolate, caramel, dried fruits. Aftertaste: more chocolate, some coconut, bitter, cocoa powder, alcohol. Most of the coconut has disappeared through the barrel ageing, making it maybe even more balanced and complex.
On tap at Happy Gnome during Super Bowl. Standard 10oz bowling pin glass. Pitch black color with minimal light tan head. Served a little too cold. Coconut comes through in the aroma with maybe a little chocolate. A slight peat characteristic. Taste brings in plenty of rum with some sweetness kind of like chocolate coconut candy. Unfortunately what's coming to mind is a watered down rum and coke. Thin mouthfeel. I'm a little underwhelmed. Dogbrick (14510) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 19, 2017
Sample at Bob's Bar during the "Oskar Blues Barrel Lovelies!" event on 10/26/2017. Dark brown-black color with a medium tan head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Chocolate, rum and coconut aroma. Full-bodied with flavors of spiced rum, chocolate malt and toasted coconut. The finish is rum, vanilla and coconut. Good beer overall. adt22 (10) - - DEC 18, 2017
Awesome porter. Tried it in a flight and it is dangerously smooth. I never order rum, but this porter rum-barrel aged? A treat.
