Aromat kawowo-czekoladowy, sporo słodów palonych i kakao, w smaku powtórka, mocno kawowo - palone, raczej gorzkie, czuć też troszkę marcepanu, wpływu beczki nie zanotowano. Solidne piwero, ale zdecydowanie wolę wersję normalną BA. Dogbrick (14389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 31, 2017
Sample at the "Black Friday 03" tasting on 11/24/2017. Opaque black color with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lace. Aroma of bourbon, coffee, malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt, roasted espresso and a bit of hops. The finish is oaky and roasty with a bourbon and coffee aftertaste. Good beer all around. Stovepipe to snifter. A huge dark cocoa aroma up front. Light booze. Huge brown head on the pour. Deep dark cocoa on the flavor with light notes of deep coffee. Overall it is very well balanced in terms of the roast and bitterness. Not a significant barrel character to it though. Some vanilla as it warms along with some chestbwarming alcohol. Decent to above average. beskid (478) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - DEC 20, 2017
Bottle share at Mon Petit Cafe Stuttgart. Deeper than the standard BBA, coffee replaces the ashy feeling, full bodied and lasting on palate. 77ships (11605) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 15, 2017
655 ml. can sampled @ WeldWerks Tasting. Not as spectacular as the regular or standard BA version for me but still really, really good beer. Black, solid mocha head. Nose is cacao chocolate cereal, bitter coffee obscures barrel a bit. Chocolate, cereal, low plastic, almost soy sauce & massive coffee on top, quite bitter, barrel is bit lost but overall still really fun coffee bitter chocolate sludge boost juice.

Can, shared by Scott. Pours black, with a fleeting, tan head. Strong coffee and syrup aromas, with some earthy notes and lots of vanilla. Sweet, with a sharp bitterness. Heavy body, with a creamy, slick mouthfeel. Solid, with a lovely coffee and barrel aroma. blueshockey24 (684) - Colorado, USA - NOV 6, 2017

On tap at Hops & Pie. Black appearance with a light brown head. Aroma of gourmet coffee, milk chocolate, mild oak, vanilla and caramel with light roasted malts and a slight earthiness. Similar flavor, rich, dark, malty, moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Full body with soft carbonation, a smooth creamy feel and a touch of whiskey/bourbon at the finish, although, the alcohol is mostly hidden. Pretty delicious overall. At Hopishop 2017. Aroma of roasted espresso, cherry, chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor has cherry, roasted espresso beans, chocolate, mocha, cacao powder, vanilla and a long rich finish. Very good, wow.
