Beautiful pour, black with brown edges, dark tan head. Nose is licorice, vanilla, wood and fudge. Good feel. Smoke, oak, milk chocolate, lacto... Not really boozy for the abv. A hair slick at times but a good release. Goodgrief (2062) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - DEC 9, 2017
On tap at Pinocchio’s. Not an improvement on over regular Ten Fidy. Super sweet and sticky, with a molasses like flavor. Too much. Tide (4497) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 7, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2017 Can from bottle shop. Black color, brown head. Bitter taste with roasted malts, nuts, coffee, bourbon, oak, chocolate and licorice. Bitter finish with roasted malts, nuts, coffee, licorice, bourbon, oak, chocolate and a bit of dark fruits. Excellent imperial stout. IndianaRed (5058) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 1, 2017
Big Can black pour with a modest but persistent dark mocha head. Soft dark roast aromas and flavors. A little licorice and a little dark chocolate, some tootsie roll and a warming bourbon character that ties it all together. A lingering ABV burn. Subtle and smooth and very tasty. 2016 can. Pours black, with a fleeting, tan head. The aroma is some good barrel notes of vanilla and rum, with some coffee, and rubber bands. Sweet, and a bit boozy. The body is unfortunately light, with a thin, oily feel. This is a pretty nice and aromatic stout, but too thin and weak.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2017 Draft pours black with a brown head. Aroma of whiskey, chocolate and some wood. Taste is whiskey, coffee , chocolate and some grains bubbleflubber (2241) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - NOV 26, 2017
Pours an opaque oily black into the glass, with a tiny head that dissipated to trace bubbles. The nose is of bourbon and burnt toffee. Flavors of dark chocolate, huge Expresso roasts, a multitude of bourbon-wood (aging), light vanilla extracts and luscious caramel finish with an amazingly-integrated alcohol note. The full body and smooth palate are kept semi-lively with a nicely-noted carbonation activity. The substance and complexity of this aged Ten FIDY might be matched by others in the genre, but rarely, if barely outshined. Honestly one of the best Impy Stouts one would happen upon, Oskar Blues has a very outstanding offering here, and one that should never go extinct, nor be taken for granted. Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful in every way. willisread (3695) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 25, 2017
Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch black with a small bit of brown head that dissipates quickly. Big chocolate nose, oak and booze. Boozy on the palate, milk chocolate. Clean and crisp. Lots of dark malt, cacao and roasted espresso notes. Roasted cacao nib comes though as it warms, but the booziness always seems to linger. Lacho (110) - USA - NOV 23, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 23, 2017 I think this is the blackest, thickest beer I have poured. This is burnt motor oil. It pours with a very thin and thick foamy head that quickly disappears and gives way to amazing aromas of tart cherry and vanilla. First taste is vanilla and cherry, but a grown-up's vanilla and cherry, like in a brandy or port. The high alcohol content is not evident at first but as the beer warms it reveals its 12.9% alcohol. This is an amazing beer. Piotrek4 (315) - Lublin, POLAND - NOV 22, 2017
Cudowny kokos i cynamon w aromacie. W smaku pralinki, mleczna czekolada i marcepan. Ogólnie jest mega złożone i idealnie zbalansowane w swej intensywności. Choć przyznam szczerze, że trafiają się warki podstawowego Ten Fidy na takim bardzo wysokim poziomie.
