COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ten FIDY’s huge-but-comforting flavors hide a hefty 10.0% and 98IBU. This version is aged in whiskey barrels from Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey (Denver, CO) to create an even trippier extreme beer.

Pours a still, thick, opaque black with a rim of caramel colored head. The surface of the beer is completely still. The aroma is more subtle than I would have thought. There is chocolate and toffee with some wood. On the palate, this beer is incredibly rich... luscious. The bourbon is fairly understated but the wood comes out strong and balances a smoother rendition of the usual Ten Fidy. Awesome and worth seeking out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep dark brown color. Small tan head head that lasted throughout. Aromas of bourbon and wood. Flavor was a lot of bourbon, hints of smoke, chocolate. Full bodied and creamy. Tasted more bourbon than beer. WOW, this is a flavorful beer!!

Tap at the BTBF. The look is dark, big tan head, and dark black in color. The smell is wood, great, alcohol, raisins, fruit, sugar, bourbon, and barrels. The taste is roast, rich, complex, dark fruits, wood, whiskey, and so good.

Wow, a supreme beer, the whiskey aroma is intense, but a glassful of complex flavours mellows the taste. A luxurious, world class beer.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2014 Black of course with a fluffy mocha head. Amazing aroma of chocolate, whiskey, raspberries, vanilla, and wood. Taste is rich, sweet, woody, fruity, not too boozy, roasty, and mildly bitter. Lighter side of a full body, little carbonation, smooth.

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. This version was aged in a Breckenridge bourbon barrel. Pours near black with a modest tan head and a treacle aroma. There is a rich dark molasses flavor with a dry finish and a warm alcohol trail. A nice sipper.
