UPDATED: JUN 10, 2013 Favorite stout. Thick and robust brew here folks. Rather smooth w mild carbonation and thick oily resin. Semi-sweet and pure joy to consume this dark as night concoction. This is a full-body and emense flavor profile yeilding hints of molasses, chicory, espresso, dark non-bittersweet chocolate and dark rum or robust bourbon.

Viscous and rich imperial stout. Pours like motor oil and drinks like coffee brown sugar goodness.

Definitely one of my favorite RIS. The 10.5 is hidden well although this beer really is as thick as oil. Probably the thickest beer I’ve had. It is like drinking an oil slick. This one ages well so set a few on their side. Nice smooth and complex brew.

Wow! Aroma has very rustic bourbon scent. Leaves a very balance palate for a bourbon barrel craft beer. This is a beer to drink in a cabin next to a fire on a icy cold day.

8oz on tap. Oh damn is this good. Wish I had some dark chocolate to enjoy with this beautifully dark beer.

Pours thick and creamy, dark brown caramel head. Taste is creamy, roasty sweet, alcohol is high, but well balanced; hints of licorice, raisin, butterscotch. Awesome beer, reminiscent of Irish coffee.

Sweet caramel, chocolate, coffee, alcohol, toffee, licorice. Pitch black. Wow. So smooth, velvety with great carbonated alcohol bite. Warm it up and it?s another dimension.

Splendida imperial stout, vellutata al palato. Forti sentori di caffè, cacao, cioccolato, liquore e liquirizia. Aspetto perfetto con schiuma marrone. Corpo strutturato ma, nonostante la complessa, scivola bene. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
