Can into pint (from my notes): Pours like motor oil, head slowly emerges; interesting sliding racing/lacing. Smells like creamy, buttery, roasty chocolate, with other caramelly malts in there, and occassionally a fruity smell that reminds me of raspberries. Full and smooth in the mouth like Bells Expedition, and tastes like it at first but . . . then the hops and roastiness kick in on the end, and wow; theyre amazing. Full, kick-your-ass flavor -- this is the hoppiest stout I can remember tasting. I dont even know how it tastes like this with the high gravity and creamy mouthfill, the amount of hops they must have used. The finish totally eliminates the saliva in my mouth in dry and bitter goodness. Overall, while the wallop of this beer is impressive, it got taxing to finish it. A good can of beer to share with friends, because you could use the help.

Z puszki ogromnie dużo kokosa. Bardzo kremowe i gładkie. Trochę kwaśnej kawy i gorzkiej czekolady. Dosyć wytrawne. Świetny finisz, belgijska gorzka czekolada. Bardzo ciekawe doświadczenie.

Black color with really nice, fluffy, creamy mocha head. Aroma has dark, roasted malt, chocolate and cacao. Taste is really rich, fudgy, lots of bitter, roasted malt, high cacao content chocolate, overall quite balanced in spite of the roastiness. Full bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Really well made, classic, straight-forward imperial stout.

Nez : lgrement thylique.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is roasty and malty. Such a sweet beer. I get an intense candy like flavor. Avoids cloyingness. Some licorice. Tiny bit of alcohol warmth. A little chalkiness lingers. Its a decent beer but i feel like its missing something.

Pitch black color. Lots of tar, dark chocolate, very sweet, dark berries and phenolic nose - not the best nose. Love the cacao, dark chocolate, soy sauce, umami, dark fruit in the mouth. Slightly warming finish. Longer lingering cacao, soy sauce, dark fruit finish. Nice end after so so start

Can. Clear black beer with firm beige head, decent lacing. Aroma of strong coffee, bitter chocolate, caramel, cherries, strange red fruits and light solvent. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter, dark chocolate covered cherries, some coffee, caramel, red fruits (strawberries), roasty bitter and light alcoholic finish. Medium+ body, soft to average carbonation. Good malt base, but something went wrong here (esters, unpleasant oxidation).

From tap at Taphouse. Pours a huge black with a tan almost licorice head. Body is super creamy and thick with tones of coffee, chocolate and some hopes at the end. Aroma is of coffee, chocolate malts and some slight banana and fruityness. Bitterness is very well integrated and is never too much. This beer would simply be fantastic on a bourbon barrel (hint hint). Fantastic stout I must say!

Can at home (canned 10/13/15 midnight on a moonless night). Pours dark with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, licorice, resiny hops. Taste is over moderate bitter, moderate sweet, hoppy bitter ending, long bitter sweet roasted aftertaste. Nice.
