On tap at the Oslo Mikrobryggeri. Black with a big, thick creamy beige head- wonderful looks.Potent roasted coffee and some bitter chocolate aromas. This impy is now 7 % ABV. Almost black in colour, nice longlasting pale brown head. Aroma is dryish, with mocca, dried fruits and anly slightly burnt. On tap. Pitch black. Off-white persistent creamy head which seems to be made of egg whites. Beautiful. Aroma is dry and mostly notes of roasted malts. Beer itself is dry and full of roasted malts. Bitter chocolate. Low carbonation. I’m not a 100% percent sure of this, since I haven’t asked them, but this beer is actually different from their regular stout called Chief Stout. This one is drier and has more roasted malts.

Black color, nice creamy head. Some roasted malt nose, lightly fruity and sour. Smooth, velvety, very nice mix of roasted malt, bitterness, coffee note.

Largish, creamy, off-white head which lasts forever. Body is black and only the faintest hints of red can be spotted through it. A very good-looking beer. Faint, roasty aroma. Taste is faint to begin with, then goes all coffee, burnt toast, charcoal and faint smoky notes. Very dry. Hops can be detected, but only just. Burnt flavours linger. Tap. Pitch black body with a nice creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and fruity hops. Excellent creamy feel in the mouth, medium carbonation.
