Nice burgundy with a thick foam. Roasted malt hops in the aroma. Flavor is more pronounced roasted malt in the middle with more hops in the finish. Well done.
It’s a pretty good black IPA for the most component seems to be missing. Appearances is great lots of long lasting head, plenty of lace & opaque brown black color. [Tap] Tried at taproom back in March. Pours a darker shade of brown. Not much head. Aroma is of musty hops and graham cracker. Dank hoppiness throughout the taste. Draft. Just awful, turpentine, urine, dish soap, miserable, miserable beer unfortunately.

On tap at Sugar Maple. Ruby brown with a creamy everlasting brown crown. Aroma is dank city with cat pee, pine, dark roasted malt and earthy notes. My wife said it smelled like a cat’s litterbox and she wasn’t far off. Taste is dank and resinous with pine, earthy notes and dark roasted malts. Some chocolate and peated notes come through and this one finishes up lastingly bitter.
