The perfect deer camp companion while playing cards, telling stories, and hanging out with your no good brother in-law. Enjoy! Six-pack carriers came with five Doe In Heat bottles with orange crowns and one Buck In Rut bottle with a black crown.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2012 Bottled at The Branding Iron in Wisconsin Rapids. Nice golden color, half inch head that does not last long, no lacing. Grainy, but slightly skunk like aroma. Tasted clean, nothing special. Easy drinking, but suspect a few might leave a pretty good headache. Clean enough, no mouthfeel, no aftertaste. Pretty average and underwhelming.

Average Lager with nothing too special to add to the party. Finishable for me, wouldn’t run out to buy. Not horrible.

Worst beer name EVER!!!! Does the name not sound like "Buck Lure" or any of the other hunters aids? I half expected this to taste like deer piss, Khrist almighty!!!!! Average looking macro pour with bright white head. Corn/metal nose. Soapy taste like Miller Low Life, but some good bitter hop aftertaste. Worst beer name EVER!!!!

Bottle - Pours clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Nose is light crisp corn and pale grain, with a faint floral hopping. Taste is soured pale malt, light herbal hops, and a funky grain aftertaste with some honey sweetness. Soft, ample carbonation fills up a thin body. Not a lot of difference between this and macro swill.

Reviewed at Doe in Heat. Pours an extremely light gold with a short lived white head. Tiny bubbles are going crazy in the glass. Has a sugary malt scent, not much by the way of hops. Taste is list ang sugary with a hit of lactose. It is very carbonated. It’s hard to find words for this brew, it is ok but nothing exciting really. Bottled at Bomb Shelter. Poured clear, straw golden with a synthetic cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet honey and pale malts over some berries and a touch of corn.. sweet overall and pleasant. The flavor found more honey and slight creamed corn at the base.. dry and scratchy around from tight carbonation and berry bitterness.. semi-sweet finish with pale malts and more berries. Light-bodied and scratchy on the palate.. too much adjuncty sweetness and carbonation.. OK at best.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2010 translucent sunshine pour with no legs. low carb. floral aroma with backdrop of clean pils grain. lightbodied but not watery, lightly gritty mouthfeel. simple beer that is light but never offensive in doing so. bready note comes and goes but often this is an overly sweet mess. quite similar to lemonade.

Seen this one and reminded me of my hunting back in the day. Decent lemon zest aroma. Hazy yellow bdy with decent head. Flavor was better than aroma some sour lemon zest and somewhat soapy. Easy drinkable brew while playing cards on NYE 09

Cloudy banana yellow with a small white head, gone. Aroma of sweet malt, grains, corn and fruit. Taste of malt, light fruit and a touch of lemon. Effervescent and easy drinking, refreshing and okay, but that’s about it.

Had this one bottled thanks to Slothgar! Very nice floral and citrusy notes, lightly malty but not overpowering in any one area, very smooth and mild finish. I liked it.
