2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 4/20
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2012 Bottled at The Branding Iron in Wisconsin Rapids. Nice golden color, half inch head that does not last long, no lacing. Grainy, but slightly skunk like aroma. Tasted clean, nothing special. Easy drinking, but suspect a few might leave a pretty good headache. Clean enough, no mouthfeel, no aftertaste. Pretty average and underwhelming.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle pour, and admittedly purchased this bottle for the incredible artwork (thanks mixed sixer display with some stuff I wanted to try). Extremely pale yellow color with a decent sized white head...aroma is corn and sweet malt...mild fruit notes...nothing offensive. Flavor is, well, nothing bad, but that is because it is nearly non-existent. Could have swapped in a Michelob Ultra and I probably wouldn’t have asked who took my beer...some corn, mild sweetness...just not much here. Palate is medium carbonation...quite easy drinking. In fairness, there’s nothing wrong with this beer...it isn’t disgusting or loaded with off flavors, but just nothing much in the positive either...

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle from Metcalf’s (Hilldale) in Madison, WI, served cold in a pint glass. Very, very pale gold, light bubbling and a light cloud of yeast in the body, large fluffy white head lasts a good while but does diminish to a thin ring....some nice pale malts in the nose but also unfortunately a little soapy touch which however does mostly fade in a few minutes; also a hint of wood smoke...lightly to moderately sweet body, it’s all malt without a trace of bitterness, that smoky tinge in the nose results in a very faint toastiness at the finish...body is extremely full and juicy, but not at all sticky or hard to drink, with good natural carbonation and a nice light yeasty-bready quality. If the nose were only a little fresher this could be spectacular; as is, merely a very much above-average example of the style.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not sure what the plan is here. Trying to outdo the absolute masters of the spot market beers? Impossible, except if you get really lucky, win the lottery. Aroma is odd fruit and grain. Appearance is nice head/lace, but pale yellow color. Flavor is grain, corn, carbonic tang some bitter. Body is a bit thin. Forgettable.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This is a style I rather enjoy but they try to put a craft brew twist on it and it is too much. Specifically, they went overboard on both the hops and the malty sweetness. In any case, this is an orange yellow beer and nearly headless. It smells of pine and earth and tastes sweet and lightly bitter. This is very heavy on the palate for a lower gravity lager and mild in carbonation, which just doesn’t work. I am not quite sure what they are going for w/ this one but this is just a bit off kilter and in a more delicate style that can be disastrous.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Head dissipated before I had a chance to look at it. Strongest flavor is water, but had notes of earth, citrus, and hops. Like watery Miller Lite.

Tap at Dublin’s. Murky golden pour. Nose is light fruity malts mixed with generic lager malt/wet malt. Flavor is typical pale lager malt with subtle fruity/orange undertones. Unfortunate finish of litght butter. Trailing lager malt/butter. Lightly slick on the palate. Meh.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from 12oz bottle, wierd name and wierd label, oh well I suppose, pours a pale yellow with a soapy white head, aroma is pretty musty with a little bit of metal mixed in as well, ugh, flavor is of slight cracker and a little bit of fruit in the finish, pretty bland and boring through out, Oso, you can do so much better than this.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle thanks to nuplastikk: pours a clear pale golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with some earthy noble hops. Starts with decent fullness and effervescent carbonation with mild pale malty sweetness well-balanced with a crisp herbal hoppy bitterness before a drier finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz. bottle from Christmas gift sampler.
Ar: Aroma is straight corn, maybe a touch fruity? Really not at all inviting.
Ap: Pours a clear light straw with a 1" frothy head that dissipates fairly quickly and does not leave much lace.
T: Slightly fruity body with moderate sweetness. Corn and a touch of bread dough. Little to no bitterness on the finish.
P: Medium to thin body with some stickiness and strong carbonation.
O: Not into this at all, really not an enjoyable beer.
