Tap at Oso. Deep unfiltered burgundy brown. Thin off white head. Malty brown aroma. Sweet. Nice deep caramel malt tones. Mellow lager tones. Massive, big, but drinkable. Sugary. The booze starts to show. Cool beer. kkleu357 (634) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 29, 2014
Tried some at the brewery. Come on, this is 15%. I could hardly taste any alcohol. Very smooth. Way to easy to drink. Glad they limit you to one per person. Not much carbonation, but that is not a surprise. Fairly sweet tasting. You get some bready malt tastes. I enjoyed it. I love how they do all these fun beer styles. madvike (3264) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 25, 2014
On tap at the Tap House - Pours mahogany with no head. Nose is peaty malt, big sweet bread, and a bit of sharp heat. Taste is real sweet, a bit peaty with deep earthiness--warm but not hot. Slick and thick, with minimal carbonation.
