Keg @ O’so. Deep gold with a small head. Some spring fruits and citrus. A bit of soap. Flavor has some unfortunate dms / cooked vegetable character. Light body, soft carb. VastActiv (7734) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 31, 2016

BlackHaddock (7956) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2016
Golden color with off-white head. Aroma has caramel, tropics fruits. Taste is malty sweet with quite long bitter aftertaste. Flavors of malt, bitter elements and grass.
12 oz bottle on 30th Sep 2016: The Crown Inn, Oakengates. Dull dark orange bodied brew with a thin head and collar. Piney and resiny hops rule both the nose and taste. My delicate English palate could just about manage the hops, I personally would have prefered a little more sweetness in the brew, but I did enjoy the experience of drinking this. muzzlehatch (4975) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 29, 2016
12 ounce bottle from Badger Spirits in Beloit, WI, drunk 5 minutes out of the fridge from a Fitger’s pint glass. As usual with this brewery, lovely to look at - a big stable creamy head that looks like odd-colored whipped cream, topping a bright, hazy, yeasty amber body...aromas fairly typical: cirtrus (orange, lime) and piney hops, light toasted malt hints...body is moderately sweet, lightly spicy - touches of things like cinnamon and ginger - and growing in bitterness towards a dry, woody finish...body is very full, more yeasty than typical with a pale ale, carbonation a bit on the low side. While this is not after one try one of my favorites from this brewery, I’m a bit surprised at the very low average rating, though it does seem like more recent ratings have been a bit higher than earlier ones; perhaps the recipe or bottling or something else has improved over time. At any rate for me another indicator of the quality of this brewery, and if I don’t end up buying this again anytime soon it’s more due to the insane numbers of better pale ales available these days around me. minutemat (6245) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2016
330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy amber, good white head. Aroma presents leafy pine hop with a citric nod. Taste is fruitier, but slick and rather tame with an unfortunately low bitterness. Sweet malt base takes president. Despite the criticisms it’s a nice sipper. valpoaj (755) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - JUL 8, 2016
Bottle pour - slightly hazy orange pour with a frothy beige head that recedes slowly. Aroma is grassy and piney hops - splash of citrus, but that isn’t dominant - decent level of maltiness. Not bad, though trends more sweet than bitter oddly enough. Flavor is very odd - sweet up front, then an odd mix of sweet and bitter before a bitter ending. Somewhat vegetative...catch some ’tea’ notes in here...and maybe something like sweet peas? Definitely some piney hops, but some other odd flavors as well... Just not digging this. Heavily carbonated, but slightly thin. The percentile isn’t far off on my opinion of this one - meh...though I almost wonder if this is something of a QC issue, as some ratings are much higher, and there is just something ’off’ here FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 18, 2016
355ml bottle (Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki)
Super fruity aroma - citrussy and piney. Rich orange, tight head. Very fizzy palate, needed loads of swirling to make it drinkable. Then it was malty and fruity. Very drinkable and refreshing, crisp even. Very nice fresh hoppy beer, shame it was so fizzy.
