Nice hazy copper color. Hits you in the face with the aroma. Very drinkable. Good find on a road trip. JoePeesie (925) - Long Lake, Illinois, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Pours a deep cooper with 2 fingers of off white head, and a hop cone. Nose and taste are nice and citrus with a touch of pine. Taste follows suit. I know the hop cone gimmick is a bit cheese ball, but I dig it, it works for me. I’m a fan Of this brew for sure. agl108 (1254) - Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 7, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Poured hazy copper with off white ring of head. Whole hop cone remained in neck of bottle. Sweet malty nose. Flavor also of sweet malts with notes of caramel and raisins. Dry finish. Wondering how long this bottle had been aging on the shelf? Scipio (1118) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Pours a cloudy copper with a a fading white head. Contains a fat hop cone that dropped into my glass, which I will classify as appearance. Cool! Aroma is darker and fruitier, with orange, plum, caramel, grapefruit, and touches of vanilla undertones. Taste is mango, plum, orange, and caramel and vanilla being underneath. Heavier aftertaste is the darker fruit. Medium bodied with a thick texture. With the hop cone present, this one shockingly lacks the expected hops. Its very sweet instead. This isn’t among my favorites. It isn’t bad, but more disappointing. dinkle50 (1488) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 30, 2012
Sweet heavy mouth. Lots of tropical fruit. Finish is very dry and hoppy. I loved the mouthfeel. Full & creamy. Aroma is full of sweets and sugar. The hop cone in the bottle is pretty cool too.

Bottle at home. The whole cone in the bottle is pretty awesome. Poured a bright copper with a small off-white head that quickly dissipated. Smell is earthy, dirty, caramel, and light spiciness. Taste is earthy hops, quite dirty, orange peel, heavy caramel and just very malt-forward. It has lost a ton of its hop character and I really wish I could have this one fresh. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. Really past it’s prime and subpar at best. dogfish120love (1335) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 1, 2012
I’m hoping that since this isn’t from 2010 considering it’s a double IPA. Poured through a hop cone, which wedged itself at the mouth of the bottle, into a glass. Murky orange with little Lacing. Carmel, herbs, alcohol and resin. Certainly not fresh, but surprisingly tasty Fschmidt (3) - Hortonville, Wisconsin, USA - APR 29, 2012 does not count
The appearance of a hop in a beer is REALLY cool but the flavor is not as good as good as Bell’s Hopslam so I will spend my money on Hopslam next time. hoosiers1994 (684) - Maryland, USA - APR 19, 2012
Bottle with hop cone in it, how cool. pours light copper with a whitish head. Aromas are sweet citrus like clementine and pink grapefruit. Taste are much the same with big citrus notes and nice balance with bittering hops. Overall, a delicious beer that is more than just a novelty. twindadplus2 (721) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 17, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy burnt orange with a very thin head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a thick layer of biscuit malt. Big floral and citrus hop flavor with a thick, creamy malt background. Pine comes through in the long lingering finish. Creamy, medium bodied with no carbonation to speak of. A very powerful and flavorful beer.
