Dark gold body, little head. Floral/caramel/hoppy aroma.. the cone floater was the savior. If you don’t like this, you like crap like Miller Lite.I.E. you is a looser!!!!!!! arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 11, 2011
Pours hazy orange with nice lasting white head. The bottle literally contains a whole hop cone...poured through it on the way into the glass. Big chewy citrus, pine, resin, touch of caramel, sweet tropical fruit notes as well, with a touch of earth in there. Taste is big, bold, bitter and harsh, with notes of pine and resinous bitter, some citrus, spicy earth, touch of tropical fruit. Fantastic, almost perfect example of an IIPA for me, wish I could have had this fresh. HopAutonomous (12) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Nice big imperial IPA. Sweeter than expected at first with some spicey and herb-like tones. FriarHop (122) - Long Beach, New York, USA - NOV 21, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 25, 2012 Pours dark amber and sustains a frothy white head throughout. Big pink bubblegum, mangos and pine overwhelms the palate. An amazing IPA! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Frozer (240) - Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Served on tap at the local pub into a pint glass. Strong hop aroma. Nice head with lacing as its imbibed. The color is a medium amber. Flavor is excellent. In your face bitterness from the hops as expected. After taste is subtle but pleasant.

Deep copper color, a bit cloudy/hazy, thick tan head. Hop and alcohol aroma jump out, citrusy hops. Up front hop flavor, not overpowering. Citrus, grassy, subtle malt sweetness. Medium-heavy body, bitter, no alcohol burn, not very bitter. Very nice! I expected an over the top DIPA, but this is somewhat balanced. The hop cone in the bottle is a cool touch. sunnyridge (222) - USA - APR 19, 2010
Pours a hazy orange-yellow-gold. Nice 1 finger head. Aroma of big pine hops and grapfruit citrus. Taste is huge hops, a lighter malt backbone. One of those big IPAs that gets it right by allowing their to be balance while still letting the hops take center stage. A great crisp and bitter finish. Absolutely furious with myself for not stocking up on these!!!! scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - DEC 7, 2009
No way. hop cone. I ate it. medium brown, peach mango aroma, some smoked salmon. limes. citrus explosion! superb, almost tart. balanced from the aggressive leafy hops and heavy body. madvike (3286) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 11, 2010
Bottle - Pours a cloudy apple juice color with a big foamy white head. Resiny pineapple hops dominate the nose, sweet and pungent. A bit piney, and a touch of boozy heat, but overall a really nice quaff. Taste is surprisingly malty, with a blast of piney, grassy hops, honey, and little citrus. Oaky finish with a nice blend of herbal and grassy hops, without being over-the-top bitter. A touch of sharp heat lingers, and a pleasantly bitter resin coats the tongue long after the sip is swallowed. Syrupy and thick in the mouth, with soft carbonation and a slickness that just sits on the tongue. Just what I want in a DIPA. gregorydeal (6) - butler, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2012 does not count
Nice hazy copper color. Hits you in the face with the aroma. Very drinkable. Good find on a road trip.
