Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, wood. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151206]

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre-Christmas/post-Pigs Ear holiday tasting of 2015 - London. Pours unclear dark brown with a bubbly tan head. The nose holds burnt toast, light cocoa, earth and plastic. Medium sweet flavor with dry chocolate, burnt toffee, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and waxy texture. Earthy cocoa in the finish, light roast, nips of coffee. Not bad.

Taste comprises chocolate, dark malt, trace of vanilla, toffee, dark fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.
