It does has more than brett in it. This seemed like a pretty classically done Oud bruin. Sour, acidic, proabbly a medium to high sourness. It is smoothe though, big oak and vanilla notes go with the sourness well. It isn’t complex and subtle but it is damn sour and tasty. MrPickles (438) - Waunakee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 2, 2012
On tap at the Malt House prior to The Great Taste. Wow this one surprised me and was fantastic. When Oso scores big they hit it out of the park. This one is top notch in every way! SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2013
Pours mahogany brown with a small light beige head. Smells mostly sour with hints of caramel and toffee. Taste is sour with subtle hints of malt sweetness, but primarily sour. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and lightly fizzy mouth-carbonation, Oso Oud Bruin (Wee-On-The-Lam) finishes with sour tingles. MIBRomeo (2570) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 20, 2013
Dark brown pour some hints of red a small whispy dark tan head with light lacing. Slightly tart lightly sour notes hints of leather and I would say a whiskey backbone. A sweet sour that balances well and leaves a light puckering like lemon rind covered in sweet molasis and raisen.... Well maybe not quote but I can’t get that taste right. Very deliciously balanced sour. b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - MAR 16, 2013
750 ml bottle to oversized snifter (shared with the Mrs.; thanks Santa!). Looks good; an opaque brown with beige lacing. Smells good too; sweet, malty, and funky. Tastes like it smells with a nice, alive mouthfeel. Good beer!

750mL thanks to nmann08. Pours a muddy mahogany, weaker beige foam. Nose is cranberry, blueberry, red wine, currant, mild buttery oak barrel. Taste is salty, red wine. Buoyant, saltwater palate. Long heavy lime finish. Very good. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2013
Bottle at Amager Bryghus - Tasting - thanks to Papsø. Clear brown - offwhite head. Sourness, light acid, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, wooden, bretty, grape notes, nice medium berrie taste, some sweet notes. Lovely drinkability. BVery (11209) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle shared by Bob - thanks! Murky orangish brown pour with a smaller head. Super interesting! Brown ale / scotch ale elements, but they are in the background versus the Bretty sourness. Really flavorful. jlruthven (612) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 28, 2013
Corked and caged bottle at Craftsman Table & Tap. Pours murky brown, with a tan, root beer-like head. Lactic on the nose, with some cherry and mellow oak notes. Again, a punch of sourness right up front, but with woody, vinous notes developing, as well as a hint of caramel from the scotch ale base. Nice stuff. Steasy66 (1158) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Brown with small off-white head. Aroma of acidic red fruit. Taste is nice, red fruit, a bit tart. Really nice beer.
