Keg @ O’so. Gold pour with a small head. Light vinegar. Some butterscotch. Stone fruits. Flavor’s a bit messy. Sharp acetic bite. Some diacetyl seems to be showing. Mild tropical fruits. Manure. Light body, oily.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a cloudy orange with medium white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is funk, stone fruit, oak. Thin body, cheese, funk, apricot, oak, nice sourness, very nice.

Golden color from a bottle at Ryan’s. Head was medium and stayed around for a bit. Notes of acidic nail polish and off funk. Not good, I had to drain pour this one as did others in the group

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has some sour lemon with sweet grains, barrel and a bit of butterscotch. Flavor combines sour lemon with butterscotch and is supported by a light barrel note.

From notes. Tap at Great Amherst Beer Festival, pours cloudy gold, nice head retention and lace. Fresh hay, lemon peel, yogurty tartness, a little oak. Burst of lemon zest, grass, old bookshelf (yeah, yeah, I know), slightly dry. A little thin, but flavor for days.

On tap at GTMW 2013 - Pours light hazy pale yellow with no head. Nose is vinegary lemon sour, very pale and tart. Taste is vinegary tart, yogurty, with lemon and a long sour finish. Thin-medium body with lots of carbonation.

Draft pour on tap at GTMW 2013 (Madison, WI). Pours a rich straw hue, firm haziness, mellow dulled glow. A frothy whitish head atop dies to a film, laces small. Aromas are firm tart fruit, lactic acidity. Green apple, lemon, and gentle pear. Some dusty funk. Initial is lighter end, firmly sour. Good lactic yogurty lemon feel. Tart, sour fruit meets some bread, gentle straw, and funk. Mellow oak. Middle is tart, fruity, a bit dry as we round the corner. Backend is dry, lactic, and twangy. Finish is firmly dry, a bit bready, straw and grass meet firm lactic presence. Nice.
