Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy straw yellow/orange color with a slight white head. Slightly funky aroma, Belgian florals. Medium mouthfeel. Slightly sweet, minimal Belgian notes, pepper, some bubble gum flavored. Overall, tastes a little watered down. BVery (10711) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - OCT 9, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Bottle. Lightly hazy golden pour with almost no head. Nice aroma of Belgian yeast, flowers, and a touch of fruit. Some clove in here as well. Palate is a little flat and light. Pretty flavorful. jebert (500) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 9, 2012
Pours a light golden color, almost straw, with very little head. Nose is honey and bread. Average mouthfeel. Taste is mostly a yeasty bread, somewhat sour. No noticeable hops, fruit or floral notes. Not in the same league as true Belgians. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 16, 2012
On tap at O’so Tap House. Straw yellow with a white topper. Aroma of bready malt, roses, floral notes and some Belgian yeast. Taste of yeast and mild candi sugar with floral and rose pedal notes underneath. AWISLguy (3234) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 7, 2012
Sampled from ck1 at Uncle Mikes. Pours very yellowish with a white head. Smells very belgian yeasty with some straw and earth. Taste is of some spices, some sweet fruit, straw. A bit thin even for a belgian? 12.5 if I could.

A rather neat summer style bottle design hints that this is a lighter, summer style brew. This beer starts off with pouring a clear, goldenrod color with an average head that disappears rather quickly.
It definitely delivers that traditional Belgian style scent of yeast, wheat and citrus mixed with floral tones. The scent is very inviting indeed.
It is exactly what you expect a Belgian style brew to taste like. Initially I found the yeast and wheat in the taste and as drinking progressed, out came the citrus and hibiscus tones. It’s very mellow and refreshing however it does lack in its texture a little bit; perhaps a bit more yeast would help that out. Has a weak after taste as well that could use some work.
It was interesting to find an O’so beer that I have never seen or heard of before. O’so is better known for The Big O, Night Train, and Hopdinger. That being said I was happy to find a lesser known brew to try and review. Definitely a well made beer, perhaps not fantastic but still rather good.

Picked up a single bottle at Riley’s World of Wines and sampled on draught during the GTMW 2012. Pours a hazy golden amber colored brew with a fast dissipating off-white head that leave behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel and golden grain malt, a hint of banana esters, light clove, a touch of cotton candy and light floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, not as heavy as the original Qu Rosa, flavors of multi-grain malt, light Belgian yeast, some mild vanilla and definitely rose pedals. More smooth finish than the Qu Rosa with a lingering vanilla and belgian yeast aftertaste. crossovert (13413) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 25, 2012
Comes off like an american-styled saison. A spicy refreshing summer beer. The rose pedals are noticeable, oak not as much. jgb9348 (6388) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 29, 2012
Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, slightly off-white head. Aroma of coriander seed, yeast, curacao, lemons and some strong wheat. Light to Medium-bodied; Slightly light flavour with yeast and wheat at first then some lighter fruits and acidic notes. Good aftertaste thats fairly light and a bit acidic with lemons, curacao and a touch of coriander seed. Overall, a nice and rather refreshing beer with some good flavours. Nice to sample here in Wisconsin! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle purchased from Ridgeview Liqours in Green Bay, Wisconsin for US$2.00 sampled later in the day from my hotel room in Green Bay on 29-July-2012.
