3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Picked up a single bottle at Riley’s World of Wines and sampled on draught during the GTMW 2012. Pours a hazy golden amber colored brew with a fast dissipating off-white head that leave behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel and golden grain malt, a hint of banana esters, light clove, a touch of cotton candy and light floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, not as heavy as the original Qu Rosa, flavors of multi-grain malt, light Belgian yeast, some mild vanilla and definitely rose pedals. More smooth finish than the Qu Rosa with a lingering vanilla and belgian yeast aftertaste.
Hazed golden to orange colored liquid. Aromas of raw wheat, floral hops and some hints of citrus. Flavors of wheat and pale malts. Some light circus peanuts, and fruit. Fairly dry in the finish with a bit of grain and wood. 5/12

Had high hopes for this beer, I enjoy other brews from OSO, but I couldn’t even finish the 6pack... with a friend. Cousin_Larry (895) - - OCT 15, 2014
Pour is flat. Aroma of coriander, wheat, lemon. Flavor Is Watery. What I can taste is outstanding, though. Frank (4194) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 24, 2013
This is one of those instances where a brewery tried to do a barrel aged beer and just wound up w/ one that tastes like its been on the shelf to long. This is a slightly tart belgian style which seems like it might have been crisp and refreshing had it went straight into bottles but is instead a bit oxidized and flabby. I guess there is kind of a nutty complexity hear but it comes at a sacrifice of drinkability so, in my opinion, it’s not worth it.

Tasted this on tap at the 8th Street Ale Haus in Sheboygan, Wisconsin so I didn’t get great notes. But it was terrible. tmoreau (4365) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - FEB 19, 2013
12 oz. bottle poured to a 1/2 pint taster showing a lightly hazed, orangy gold color, with bubbly, white head foam that reduced fairly quickly to a ring & film, and left some light spots & ribbons as lacing. The aroma was light grain/wheat, with light cracker & biscuit scent, some floral and spice hints with a touch of coriander, light fruit & citrus, and a bit of sweetness. The flavor presented low hop bitterness, light astringency & tartness, a light body, and a spritzy effervescence to project these notes to the palate without becoming watery or thin. Dry, crisp, and nicely sessionable. alexsdad06 (10416) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 3, 2013
12 oz. bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a medium sized white head. The aroma has citrus, yeast, pale malts with some spicy peppery notes. The flavor is citrus, peppery spice, pale malts, light woody notes with a very mild herbal note. b3shine (8873) - Indiana, USA - OCT 31, 2012
Bottle to snifter (thanks kbutler1). Looks good; a hazy orange with white lacing. Smells solid; yeast and citrus. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A good example of the style. madvike (3264) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 21, 2012
Bottle - Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Nose is florals, a bit of mellow oak, light spicing, some plastic, and tropical fruit. Tastes kind of like a hefe--big time tropical fruit and banana notes, a bit of clove, and some dusty yeast covered by more tropical fruit. Slick, medium body, with a touch of carbonation. Very fruity and flavorful, with a bit of sweet stickiness to it.
