murky chestnut, puffy cream head with considerable lacing. Musty nose, light sugar and cherry syrup. Sweeter flavor, lightly acetic with bile hints, lime coats mid-finish. Sticky, coating and oppressive

Dark brown pour some hints of red a small whispy dark tan head with light lacing. Slightly tart lightly sour notes hints of leather and I would say a whiskey backbone. A sweet sour that balances well and leaves a light puckering like lemon rind covered in sweet molasis and raisen.... Well maybe not quote but I can’t get that taste right. Very deliciously balanced sour.

750mL thanks to nmann08. Pours a muddy mahogany, weaker beige foam. Nose is cranberry, blueberry, red wine, currant, mild buttery oak barrel. Taste is salty, red wine. Buoyant, saltwater palate. Long heavy lime finish. Very good.

Corked and caged bottle at Craftsman Table & Tap. Pours murky brown, with a tan, root beer-like head. Lactic on the nose, with some cherry and mellow oak notes. Again, a punch of sourness right up front, but with woody, vinous notes developing, as well as a hint of caramel from the scotch ale base. Nice stuff.

From Skyview. The beer is a dark red. I smell balsamic vinegar and yeast. Sour flavor, and a dry, earthy quality. With some age, I expect this will get more sour still.

750 ml bottle to oversized snifter (shared with the Mrs.; thanks Santa!). Looks good; an opaque brown with beige lacing. Smells good too; sweet, malty, and funky. Tastes like it smells with a nice, alive mouthfeel. Good beer!

SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2013
Pours mahogany brown with a small light beige head. Smells mostly sour with hints of caramel and toffee. Taste is sour with subtle hints of malt sweetness, but primarily sour. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and lightly fizzy mouth-carbonation, Oso Oud Bruin (Wee-On-The-Lam) finishes with sour tingles.

Bottle shared by Eric, thanks! Pours a cloudy brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice sour acidic red fruits with a nice funk Brett note. Flavor starts with sour red fruits supported by funk with a bit of sweet grain in the finish.
