It does has more than brett in it. This seemed like a pretty classically done Oud bruin. Sour, acidic, proabbly a medium to high sourness. Pours mahogany brown with a small light beige head. Smells mostly sour with hints of caramel and toffee. Taste is sour with subtle hints of malt sweetness, but primarily sour. Dark brown pour some hints of red a small whispy dark tan head with light lacing. Slightly tart lightly sour notes hints of leather and I would say a whiskey backbone. A sweet sour that balances well and leaves a light puckering like lemon rind covered in sweet molasis and raisen.... Well maybe not quote but I can’t get that taste right. 750 ml bottle to oversized snifter (shared with the Mrs.; thanks Santa!). Looks good; an opaque brown with beige lacing. Smells good too; sweet, malty, and funky. Tastes like it smells with a nice, alive mouthfeel. Good beer!

Corked and caged bottle at Craftsman Table & Tap. Pours murky brown, with a tan, root beer-like head. Lactic on the nose, with some cherry and mellow oak notes. Brown with small off-white head. Aroma of acidic red fruit. Taste is nice, red fruit, a bit tart. Really nice beer.
