A Mes rate: Cask at The Crown.Fukito (1064) - Santiago, CHILE - DEC 27, 2007
About as gold as a beer gets with a good white head. Lemon and grassy hop aroma with a nice earthy note. Straight down the line drinkable hoppy stuff in the mouth. Lovely dry finish. Once again a beer served at its best in the Crown.
Cask @ Ackhorne, november 07. Shinny pale golden color with a small, creamy white head. Citric, lemony flavor with some hay malts at the end. OK. Medium mouthfeel hoppy/ citric prescence with a salty finnish. Dry mineral aftertaste. Refreshing. Honey, flowery aroma. Perfumey. Ok, quite dry english bitter. Pale golde pour covered by a tight white cover. This feels like a middle-of-the-road blonde with the usual grainy and strawy malts and a sloppiness to go far beyonds. The dryness seems to come mostly from its minerality as its hops are quite devoid of aromas besides the mildest floral feel. No nonsense and no surprises. fonefan (51064) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2007
