COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A light refreshing pale ale designed for the discerning session drinker. Pale Gold has a floral/spicy aroma derived from the finest American hops. A beer that drinks higher than its modest alcohol content would suggest.

A Mes rate: Cask at The Crown.
About as gold as a beer gets with a good white head. Lemon and grassy hop aroma with a nice earthy note. Straight down the line drinkable hoppy stuff in the mouth. Lovely dry finish. Once again a beer served at its best in the Crown.

Fukito (1064) - Santiago, CHILE - DEC 27, 2007
Cask @ Ackhorne, november 07. Shinny pale golden color with a small, creamy white head. Citric, lemony flavor with some hay malts at the end. OK. Medium mouthfeel hoppy/ citric prescence with a salty finnish. Dry mineral aftertaste. Refreshing. Honey, flowery aroma. Perfumey. Ok, quite dry english bitter.

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 23, 2007
Pale golde pour covered by a tight white cover. This feels like a middle-of-the-road blonde with the usual grainy and strawy malts and a sloppiness to go far beyonds. The dryness seems to come mostly from its minerality as its hops are quite devoid of aromas besides the mildest floral feel. No nonsense and no surprises.

3.3
fonefan (51064) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2007
Cask (handpump) @ Mill Hotel, CH1, Chester. Clear ornage color with a small fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, and a nice dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2011 1)Hungover, hair-of-the-dog half at The Winter Gardens (’Spoons), Harrogate. Very hazy gold with a scummy layer of froth. Soapy gooseberry stillness. Fruity and bitter with a touch of creamy malt. Reasonable, but not in prime condition. Preferred the accompanying tumbler of Coke. 535212=2.7. 2) Cask handpull, The Hop, Leeds, 19/04/11. Eponymous with fine white drapes. Juicy hop aroma; pine, thistle and lime. Good balnced taste with a hint of lime sharpness, rub of resins, soft dunked rich tea and caramel. Lingers with biscuit. Clean and good.

Light but reallu refreshing and crisp flavour of lemon-rind, wet grass and minerals. Light bodied. Aromatic and medium bitter finish of grapefrui and straw. Probably a great summer beer.
