On cask (gravity dispense) at Chelmsford Beer Festival on 15 July 2011. Clean gold. Excellent condition. Very lemony. Sharp and refreshing. Straightforward but appealing. In line with the usual Ossett profile.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light peel bitter with a average to long duration, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 
The Babington, Derby. Straw and lacy. Lemon sherbet, flowers and hay aroma. Rich Tea malts, fresh biscuit, more lemon sherbet, elderflower. Pale and slightly lovely. Definitely in the top 4 beers I’ve had today.

Clear golden coloured slightly pale and fruity. Some dryness in a bitter hop finish.

Cask, hand pump at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Pale golden colour, slim white head. Grain, malts, hops and citrus. Light, pretty refreshing and easy drinking.
