On cask at the Bell Bell. Pours a light golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of lemon, pine, grass, caramel and yeast. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation, mild bitterness and a creamy mouth-feel. Not bad.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow (2 Mar 12) - very lightly hopped with a fruity aroma, pale clear golden ale with a small off-white head, lemon notes, smooth and pleasant

First tasted this in The Last Post, Paisley (JDW) in June 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale gold in colour with a thick white head. Strong aromatic dusty hops and fresh mown grass notes evident in the long nose. Pale malt base gives booming citric notes of lemon and grapefruit with sweet hints of brown sugar. Strong note of black pepper noted in the spicy hop resins, giving an interesting kick to the aftertaste. Finish is dry and pithy with grapefruit still evident in the mouth. An ok session Golden Ale.

Cask @ The Station Inn Whitby. A clear yellow colored beer, with a white head. The aroma is gentle sweet, with fruits and a little hop. The taste is sweet moving too a little bitter. The aftertaste is sweet and some bitter.

Pint at "meet the brewer" at the central in Gateshead. Golden ale with a thin white head fresh and fruity, with the currently fashionable grapefruit flavour. I particularly enjoyed that there is more of a malt balance to the bitterness than with a lot of blond ales.

looks a bit like watered down lager with a thin white head. slight hop aroma. taste has an initial hit of grapefruit then massively overpowered by bitterness. slightly too watery

worldbeertaste (1806) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2011
Hoppy malt nose with just a bit of citrus. Pale gold colour with thin white head. Smooth medium texture. Light citrus start with a sweet grape center and sour hop finish. Transition is very well balanced and leaves the mouth just a little dry, thisty for more. Citrus is a little much.
