500ml bottle from The Real Ale Company. Almost black, reasonable head. Chocloate malt aroma. Mild chocolate treacle flavour. Watery with sweet malty aftertaste. A bit bland. WaddlingPlatypus (186) - Durham, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2016
500ml bottle. Rather fittingly, the colour is that of dark molasses, and it pours with a pale caramel head. The aroma is burnt cinder toffee. Soft and rounded texture, with flavours of burnt malt and smokey honey. This stout is pleasingly flavoursome, and pairs well with cake.

Had on tap at The Hop in York. Not much of a smell, super dark colour, watery to taste, sort of a bad aftertaste. Overall a subpar stout, wouldn't have again. edsspoon (894) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2015

Pours black with a brown head. Smells of roasted malt with dark chocolate. Good bitterness initially but not lasting. MarkoNm (2698) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - APR 16, 2015
Pours a completely black color, topped with a very good-looking brown colored head with nice retention. Mild roasty aroma, some pleasant chocolate notes and a hint of coffee. Taste is mild, slightly sweet with chocolate with some minimal bitterness in the finish. Medium to full bodied, smooth and easily drinkable. Gentle but tasty.
