Bottle 50cl. poured into an English pint. Clear pale to medium golden, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing; aroma toasted malts, caramel, straw, hint of honey; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, light caramel, bit cardboard; dry sweetbitter aftertaste, bit husky, light spicy notes; medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation; more than decent blond ale. A blonde with a gentle nature easy going at 3.9 ABV Clear, bright, clean and fresh. One finger foamy head with long legs and lacing the glass nicely. Nose and flavour are a rather discrete floral and citrus with a little bitterness to follow through. A little to delicate for my taste. alexmate (252) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2017
Appearance is golden as expected with a large creamy white head, medium carbonation. Aroma is of sweet cream, citrus, honey, sweet sugars similar to the like of Leffe Blonde, but lighter and unfortunately a slight metallic smell. Taste is of honey, slight lemon, brown sugar and sweet malty barley sugar. Nice session ale. Price Paid: £1.49 on clearance, 500ml bottle. prawlie (1643) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2016

Taste of lemon, subtle orange, pale malts, slight honey, subtle caramel and spicy, grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, spicy, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Not a bad golden ale. Light citrus, spicy, grassy hops and sweet malts.

Cask in the Kings Arms, Castleford. A run of the mill golden ale with light citrus flavour. Easy to sup, but pretty bland really.
