THis would go so well with a cigar. Rich full eisbock of their dunkel bock. Highly concentrated, sweet, but not cloying. Reminds me of a mead in some ways. Fragrant, dark berries, some vanilla. Lovely sipping beer. Would love to see an aged version, as this could take on some great complexities.
Tap at Beer Horn. Dark brown, creamy golden head. Aroma is sweet, lightly fruity, raisins, orchard fruit. Taste is good, very subtle for %. Sweet, candi sugar, boozy fruits, very easy drinking, smooth and pretty subtle.

From the cask at Horn. 2013 release. Huge tan head at first, but settled down later in the night. Big jammy fruit nose, raisins, plums, fudge. Flavor of plums, cherries, raisins, chocolate fudge, alhocol heat and a good bitter finish. Rich and delicious. Some bit of wod and licorice. Very smooth. Amazingly drinkable for an Eisbock, not cloying at all. Wonderful.

alcohol, raisins, burnt sugar in nose. Rich, but well balanced mouth. Alcohol not that present. Smooth, tons of burnt raisins. Rich, but never cloying. A touch of woodiness. Superb. Lingering burnt raisin, brown sugar finish. For 13.5%
