Golden with a thick head. Lots of noble hop. Fresh pale malt. Sweet pale malts, has a mellow hop accent. willisread (3651) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 13, 2015
Bottle from Tokyu bottle shop in front of Sapporo station. Pours a clear gold with a nice white head. Nose is light floral with some grain ad grassy hops. Taste is more if the same. Great balance. Light pepper on the finish with a bit of stone fruit as it warms. biirusaikou (2705) - - JUN 29, 2015
Draught at Leibspeise. Rich malty body, quite crisp, sharp green hops, dry clean finish. Surprisingly smooth and balanced, could drink liters of it, solid pils! presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 1, 2014
Bottle from Hoser’s trip. Thin froth and delicate lace on Amber. Grain aroma. Full grain flavour. Nice hopping. Decent for watching sumo or Japanese World Series. Hoser (387) - Cowtown, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 22, 2014
My 368th beer from Michael Jackson’s Good Beer Guide. A good pilsner is a hard thing to do, although the pub had 2 other solid beers on tap, I went back to this 3 times. Herbal, balanced slightly towards hops and crisp, could drink this all day long.

Aroma: Grain, corn, floral
Flavor: Like the aroma: grain, corn and floral
Comment: Straightforward pils. maekchu (4054) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 5, 2014
Bottle. Okay grassy nose, slight corn note. Hazy light straw color. Light sweet malty initial / mild hopping and some grainy touches, too. Okay. Small malt stuff. The hopping doesn’t really add much. shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - NOV 13, 2013
Tap at Beer Horn. Golden colour, crazy horn glass, white bubbly head. Aroma is grainy, floury. Taste is decent, refreshing, good graininess, light creamy sweetness, nice. I was a bit toasted at this stage, but liked it. jonno (2917) - JAPAN - APR 16, 2012
Tap at the horn. This is the kind of beer that a bottle wouldn’t do justice to. Great mouthfeel - soft but brisk bittering. Well nuanced and very drinkable. Top pils. jonas (8035) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JAN 18, 2011
Tap at Leibspeise, Sapporo fall 2009.
