September 2017 - Bottle share at Leighton's. Huge thanks! As 'Other Half Enigma + Galaxy', 8.5%. Hazy golden orange, still with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is oniony, slight orange. Other Half really know how to get onion out of their hops – either that or it's the Enigma. Body is light and frothy with soft-to-tingly carbonation. Taste is big onion, sodawater, light minerally fruits, spicy, dusty dryness, crisp finish. Good. Like the crisp finish. (8-4-8-3-16=3.9)

Hackney Bottleshare. Huge thanks to Leighton for this astonishing run of canned US DIPAs! Cheers! Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is very light and a little crisp. Light and thin malts still deliver a nice light creamy sweetness. Mild hop skunk. Good piney hop. Hop spice under control here, never burns. Light citrus in good balance with slightly ripe tropical fruits. Light spicy finish. Lovely. Wow! What a sequence of DIPAs!

A 1 pint can, canned on 4th August 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a hazy dark orange colour with a two finger white head that had excellent retention and left lots of nice lacing. Aromas were juicy, strong guava and orange pith with some unripe mango, pineapple and mandarin. Taste also juicy, freshly cut papaya, apricot and pineapple with perhaps hints of mango and citrus rind. Light sweetness and moderately bitter on the finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, very nice and juicy taste plus aroma that just makes me want to go for more.

Pours a very hazy, brown-mustard color, with mid-sized and lasting head. Aroma has citrus an tropical fruit notes, along with some grassiness and pine/spruce hops. Flavor is citrusy, with a ton of hop bite. Pretty smooth and balanced. Rather a bitter finish/aftertaste to this one.
