Bottle shared by Dad, at sisters Boxing Day Bash, 26th December 17. Pours black and oily. Aroma is liquorice, cocoa, sweet. Taste is smooth, liquorice, rich chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, I don't get the nuts, but it's a beautiful impy

Tasted from bottle. Pours black with thick tan head. Aroma is sweet lactose, cocoa and vanilla. Creamy sweet mouthfeel. Flavors of chocolate milkshake, vanilla, slight bourbon, some coffee and hazelnut. Hides ABV very well. Dangerously drinkable. Awesome BA stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Bottled. Pours kinda thin black. Tan head. Aroma is lots of bourbon and milkshake, lactose. Vanilla. Coffee. Flavor is basically just bourbon, vanilla, sugar, lactose. Almost no hazelnut. It’s good though.

Bottle from Other Half: pours black with a very small head. Very light carbonation. Aroma is vanilla, bourbon and mere hints of nuts. Taste is large, sweet, bourbonish, nutty. Thick and syrupy. Pretty drinkable for what it is.

Craft Tot.Ct. Rd. Bottle share courtesy of the brewers! Opaque dark brown beer, good dark tan head. Smooth palate, comparatively light and with decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate malts. Spicy bourbon soaked fruits. Dark malt cream. Hazelnuts are just about there on the finish. Nice, not as punchy as Twigs but also smoother.

Bottle, shared thanks to the Siren team, CBC Holborn 11/08/17. Rich black with a well appointed tan head. Nose is mellow roast, light bourbon xoak, pinch of spice, chocolate, mellow barrel notes. Taste comprises vanilla but more toned down than the base, chocolate fudge, light bourbon strike, Nutella, moderate roast, hazelnuts evident. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light warming alcohol in the close. Solid impy affair, great balance between sweetness, roast and barrel.
