On cask @ Bert’s Bar. Pours golden and hazy with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has pineapple and perhaps some fruit salad sweets - interesting. Still quite fruity on the taste with more of the fruit sweets coming through. The palate is medium bodied and textured with a fairly refreshing finish. Decent ale!

Poured on cask into an Otley pint glass in the Pen & Wig pub, near the student union in Cardiff. A good accompaniment to a very cheap and great quality burger with chips. Pours nicely with a good thick head and massive lacing. Not sure why the other reviewer rated it down on this to be honest. Smells nicely hoppy and herbal. Faintly alcoholic. Tastes very balanced and rather smooth. Fairly hoppy much like a pale ale which is what I would say the beer is more similar too. Overall a very nice quaffing ale.

Have had this in cask multiple times. Pours a nice light orange (or so it feels). The aroma has fruit (tangerine and peach), some spices, very inviting. Usually lively and medium bodied in the mouth, with a nice clean, grassy hoppiness. Taste again is overwhelmingly of fruits, lightened by the hops and the spice. It feels a bit full to be seasonable, but in a summer day it does go down pretty well. In overall it’s a nice drink, it’s very easy to pour to ale and non-ale drinkers alike.

Bottle at home. Mandarin, pithy fresh tangerine, gentle carbonation, full of pith, corriander creeping in.

The head is ok, the body golden-blond. It smells like a hop-garden, young hoppy intensive in a positive way. The taste is very interesting, different hoppy, a bit malty, a real hop garden! Good! 11/10/11/11/-/11

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 11/08/12. Slightly hazy pale yellow with a thin white head. Citrus, grapes, figgy jam on the nose. Taste marries the nose allied to a hint of grass and peas with a sour background flavour. Medium bodied with a bitter dry finish. average.
