Cask @ The Rake, London. Amber with a tiny head leaving only a few bubbles in the glass. Grainy malt and some citrusy hop notes. The flavour is the same. I think this has passed its prime. renffisch (891) - london, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2010
BBF 2010 light golden colour. very cheesy citric hop nose. oddly sweet sour start but lovely finish. weird but well balanced. Lovely beer! madmitch76 (25537) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2010
26th September 2008. Mild soft ale - a little hops but somewhat apologetic. The palate is also watery which doesn’t help this beer. AndrewC (379) - Canterbury, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2010
500ml Bottle Conditioned: Pale gold in colour with a great smell of tangerines and a massive tangerine hop body combining tangerine skin and friut juice flavours. The carbonation wasn’t too over powering so it actually felt like I was drinking a cask beer. Winner! What an excellent beer. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2009
A Mes rate. Cask at The Rake.

Cleanish gold with a thin white head. Reasonably hoppy with a good biscuit malt base and some nice citric fruit to finish. Straight forward but tasty.
Cask in the Rake. Alround rating: Pale sweet yet biscuity malt, lemon and other citrusy flavours kicking about, balanced. Good show. johndoughty (5543) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2009
Bottle. Flat and pleasantly hoppy with a nice bitter aftertaste. Left some sediment and lacing. Well bottled and well balanced as a BCA should be. Jonte (1496) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - APR 26, 2009
Cask. Charlies Pub. Copenhagen. Golden orange and extremely cloudy (last runnings from the cask). Fruity, floral, citrus hops. Slightly bitter finish. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 5, 2009
Cask @ London Drinker 25:
What a shocker. I stank like a guy I had to sit behind on a bus the day before (like rancid, rancid faeces.) But it had a tiny dusty straw edge slipped in. The cereals in the mouth were overwhelming and then just disappeared leaving me absolutely nothing to mull over. Watery, slick and soapy like drinking heavily softened water. This is an uninteresting and vaguely unpleasant beer.. JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 29, 2009
Cask Real Ale 0.25L glass tasted at Gallows Bird. Pale head. Pale golden yellow colour. Flowery fruity hoppiness, Roud aftertaste boom. Slightly sour and lemoney. Some rubarb in the taste.
