Old Fountain. Cask. Almost clear gold beer. Tidy off white head. Light palate, a little crispness. Light thij malt. A very nice sweetish floral vibe gives way to a mildly sherbet lemon - lime. There is a whisper of yeasty sulphur that stops me bolting this. Finishes light and dry with some parma violets emerging. Well - a surprise all right. A new Otley high for me. Very very drinkable.
Cask at the London Drinker. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Some wet straw in the nose. Light sweet flavor, some tangy straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Alright finish, some lightly toasted hay, bit of light sugar. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sweet finish, some mild bubble gum, a bit of hay. Pretty average. chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2011
Cask (gravity dispense) at Mason & Taylor Hip Hop festival on 22 April 2011. Pale gold. Quite sharp, fruity, citric hops. Clean palate. Fresh, but quite light, mouthfeel. Was convinced I had reviewed this before so only made brief notes. Consequently flagged for re-rate.

Cask handpull at The Star Inn, Huddersfield. Pale gold, lasting off white head. Yeasty pineapple on aroma. It’s a good hoppy beer with aggressive yeast character. Decent. If characterful which isn’t to everyone’s taste
