Old Fountain. Cask. Almost clear gold beer. Tidy off white head. Light palate, a little crispness. Light thij malt. A very nice sweetish floral vibe gives way to a mildly sherbet lemon - lime. There is a whisper of yeasty sulphur that stops me bolting this. Finishes light and dry with some parma violets emerging. Well - a surprise all right. A new Otley high for me. Very very drinkable.
cask at cloisters ... golden yellow ... thin whte head ... soft floral lemon nose ... little custardy ... soft lemon ... light bitter ...

Cask handpull at The Star Inn, Huddersfield. Pale gold, lasting off white head. Yeasty pineapple on aroma. It’s a good hoppy beer with aggressive yeast character. Decent. If characterful which isn’t to everyone’s taste TBone (19189) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 21, 2011
