Cask by handpump at Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow - very cloudy brown, thin beige head, fruity nose, deep berry almost lambic flavour, mild traditional hop aftertaste

Cask in the Nags Head, Abingdon. Pours a slightly hazy brown with a thin cream head. Mild spicy aroma. The taste is a touch sour with earthy yeast, clove and a dry spiciness. Some lemon citrus too. OK but I couldn’t drink a lot of it.

Clear deep amber - red beer, massive cream coloured head. Palate is light, semi dry and reasonable fine carbonation. Sweet but thin creamy malts. Mild spice. Bitterish tangy fruits underneath. Ripe fruits. Light finish with a bitter linger. Slightly off centre.

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Dark amber-brown, but certainly more of the latter. Has a sugary-fruity aroma and taste. Has a low sourness and is more sweetened in taste than anything else.

Bottle from Ruprai, Birmingham. Tangy, slightly sour, though also like a tangy Bitter. Thick, slightly rich, a bit lactic, is?

Bottle. Brownish beer with a very strong frothy head. The aroma is sour with bitterness, and the flavour is very bitter with plenty of hops and some smoky sourness. Overall a nice sour and bitter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A murky orange brown coloured beer with a very lively, frothy white head. A dusty malt aroma, caramel and vinous fruit. Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, the malt flavours, of caramel and fruit are freshened by a tart vinous bitterness and a spicy flavour. The finish is mildly bitter and vinous. Bottle from Beers of Europe.

Bottle, gift from Andrew. Hazy chestnut brown with a thick beige head. Lively carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of blood orange, steel and sticky mango. Flavour of toffee apple, orange zest, grapes and caramel. Medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. Not what I was expecting but I really enjoyed this raw, hoppy Saison.

minutemat (5809) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2015
500ml bottle from Fire & Ice, Narberth. Pours hazy amber with small off-white head. Nice rosy, fruity saison with a light peppery finish. A decent different take on the style.

zacgillbanks (5362) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2015
Bottle from Vinomondo, Conwy, Wales. This cloudy copper coloured beer pours with a large foamy white head. It has a bitter orange and spicy lemon flavours, earthy and woody notes with red fruit, chocolate and tart pineapple on the creamy finish. Very nice!

leebotton (406) - Bristol, Somerset, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2015
Pours dark brown with a reasonable head. Aroma is wheaty - sulphurous with some obscure roast character lurking in the background. Flavour is wheat like again with crispy chocolate tones
